Easy all around and work great
So let me start with I read the reviews and looked at the product in a local gun shop. There are a lot of reviews saying it was tough to get the stock base plate off and replace it with the Pearce product. This could not be farther from the truth, simple simple simple!!!!!! It took me all of 5 min from the point where it was delivered to my door until it was installed on my Glock 26 magazines. The only thing you need to realize it that it does take some force to remove and install. All it takes is a tool of any kind small enough to press the small round peg on the base plate into the magazine I used a small screwdriver. You press the peg into the magazine and with the spring compressed lay the magazine onto a flat surface and press down it will pop past the small plastic keepers on the side of the magazine and then remove the screwdriver and slide the stock piece off. To install the Pearce product simply use your thumb to compress the magazine spring and make sure the plate with the peg is facing the correct direction. Slide the new base plate over and press on it until it seats past the keepers and bam its done. If your not sure there are tons of videos on how to do this on YouTube. You don't have to squeeze the magazine or clamp it or break it just use some smarts and its simple. As far as pinching or anything similar to that I guess I have the magic size of hand because I made no modifications and no changes and it works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with this product, if it pinches you just use some fine grit sand paper round the sharp edges and your in business again SIMPLE !!!!!!

Fantastic, essential add-on to a Glock 26.
First Impression: Well, they came about as packaged as an item like this should be. Just plastic cover with a cardboard back. It did come with instructions. But hey, for its purpose, how fancy do you need to get with packaging?Installation: This part is ROUGH (installed on a Glock 26) the first time you do it. Getting original piece to slide off took 3 grown men, a C-Clamp and some blood/sweat/tears to get off. The good news is, once you actually figure out the technique, you'll laugh at how much effort you (or, if you learn from reading/watching - me) put in. I found the best tool was an appropriately sized Allen-wrench, the biggest size that will still fit. The trick is not to push the "lock-pin" (no idea what the proper term is) too far in. You only need to get it JUST out of the socket. Pushing the old baseplate off once you have the lock-pin down is more about technique and leverage than power. Be patient with it, and when you finally get it to budge, don't let the mag spring pop in your eye. Putting it all back with the new grip is pretty straightforward, though if you worry about it, during the removal of the original plate, just do it very slowly, and if you can get it removed in a controlled manner, look at how the original was setup. The extension goes on the same way. Note that I did not reduce the product review to 4 stars, as this is more of a Glock design issue than the extension's fault. I helped a friend install this on a Glock19 (large hands) and it was a BREEZE.Usage: I was hardly able to believe how much of a difference this actually made. I can't provide scientific numbers as to how my accuracy was affected, but my groupings felt improved. The biggest thing is the feel. The amount of control that I felt increased substantially. The gun now actually felt full in my hand as compared to before, a sentiment shared by most Glock26 owners. I have incredibly small hands with long, skinny fingers, and this addition STILL made shooting the gun much more enjoyable. The overall profile of the gun was not affected, as my day to day concealed carry noticed no change in comfort or ease of concealment. The material feels well matched for the Glock's grip (Generation 3), and is actually textured for a bit of friction, which feels good.Overall: I was apprehensive of paying around $15 (they were around $8 a piece on Amazon at time of purchase) for 2 pieces of plastic for my magazines. Now I can't imagine if I had skipped out on this simple, but wonderful add-on.

1/8" more length would make it perfect.
This is a really nice contoured magazine base plate grip extension for G26's and G27's. As others have said this is not an "additional capacity" extension like some of the others on the market. But, having used those previously, they still leave a little to be desired comfort-wise. This has a fit that is nearly perfect fit and cut for a gen 3 glock. Two things would make this perfect... First sizing, I have medium sized hands. My fingers are long but a little narrow. And I feel that an adddition 1/8" more length would fit me perfectly. So anyone with large hands should consider the larger sized pearce grip. Second thing... I would've like to see a glock style checkering option. But honestly those are minor issues. I really like this extension. It lets the sub-comp give a good grip without presenting tooth much more profile when carrying. And that's why we choose sub-comp's right? If profile wasn't an issue we'd be carrying a full size model :) This extension doesn't add anything to the backside of the handgun. However the sub already fills my palm well enough for my taste and think this is case for most shooters. All in all, it's an inexpensive option that provides both comfort and control.

Good product gets the job done
First I have to say that anyone who has a baby Glock should be able to shoot the gun just fine without this product on it. The pinky should have little to no bearing on your grip or shot accuracy. The trigger and 2-mid fingers should do all the job. Having said this I bought 2 of these to use on my 26s training mags. I wanted a pinky location more as a place to rest the pinky then to grip the gun. Also the baby Glock grip being so different to other pistols I wanted to make the grip a little more similar, again for training drills. I felt after shooting the Glock 26 when I'd pick another pistol up things just didn't feel right. I also wanted something to help me in holster draw situations (again more mental than actually needed). Getting these on is abit tricky. You need to remove the Glock base plate (requires force on the sides of the mag, and poke the retention plate back up into the mag). Youtube it... When puttnng these on make sure you still use the plate that holds the spring inside the mag. The only gripe I have with these plates is during shooting the bottom sharp edge does tend to bite into the flesh of the pinky. A bit of filing helps alliviate this. Overalll good product that does what it is intended to do.

Easy to install
Hardest part is getting the stock base plates off.
