Ferplast Oscar Tech Bed, 80 cm, Black

Bought this as a Lightning Deal, after feeling guilty that the dog had nowhere comfortable to curl up when we sat on our deck chairs outside.First of all, I should point out that if the little band of camouflage piping is a deal breaker for you, the one I received didn't have it. Thankfully, I'm not a big fan of camouflage print anything, so I was quite relived. It's also more of a red-brown in colour than the stock photo on Amazon shows it to be - have a look at my photo.It's quite a nicely made bed, and unlike other beds we've bought our dog, she's not tried to chew it or destroy it. She could probably have done with the next size up, because even though this says 80cm in length, the padding around the rim takes up about half that, so she can't really curl up on it. The padding around the rim is obviously quite cosy because she's happy to lay her head on it. In fact, the main part of the bed seems quite thin in comparison.There is no zip-off cover, so I guess if you need to wash it, you chuck the whole thing into the washing machine or sponge the lot. I've not tested its waterproof abilities yet, but the fabric seems a good quality, so I'm quite confident that it'll cope in a shower if we forget to bring it in.Do I love it? Not really. It's okay. At its normal/full price (£40 at the time of writing), I think it's horribly overpriced for what it is, and so for that it loses a star. Yes, Ferplast is a big player in the market, and I think they're relying on their famous name to sell this. For £40, you can probably get a bed of equal quality for a lot less money. The other thing it lost a star for was the fact that Amazon don't tell you it ships from Germany, and you'll be waiting a few days for it.An average pet bed, not a lot else.

I've put it in the washing machine twice and it hasn't deformed so it's worth its price

La cuccia era data come ANTIMORSO ma non è vero affatto. Il mio bassotto nano di 8 mesi (non un alano!!) già dal primo giorno ha staccato la fettuccia del profilo aprendo tutti i bordi strappando il tessuto. Poi ha aperto la cucitura centrale ed estratto l'imbottitura di spuma espansa dilaniandola. Per cui in sintesi il prodotto pur essendo estremamente CARO ha una qualità pessima.

Das Hundebett kam wie üblich recht schnell an und sah auch super stabil aus. Nach der ersten Nacht konnte ich morgens jedoch nur noch die einzelnen Fetzten (gefühlte 1000 Stk) einsammeln und wegwerfen. Mein Hund (1 Jahr) zerfetzte es leider komplett. War wohl nicht seine Farbe. Wenn jemand einen etwas weniger aktiven Hund zu Hause hat - ist dieses Bett genau richtig. Vielleicht versuche ich es in einem Jahr noch einmal. Kaufempfehlung!
