but it's perfect as a spare bottle for my chinchilla
Smaller than I thought it would be, but it's perfect as a spare bottle for my chinchilla. Very quiet, easy to refill.

Product Does Not Allow Much Wter Out
The stem to lift to allow water out is less effective than the spring loaded ball kind, unfortunately.None of these work terribly well. I may try devising a bowl clmped to the side instead.

Mixture of good and bad qualities...
I bought these for my hamsters because the bottles that came with their cages leaked a lot, and had very poor attachment mechanisms which broke. These came highly reviewed and looked like a solution to both problems. I got a mixture of small and medium, and have ended up using the mediums, with the smalls as spares or for travel. The good bits first: the attachment mechanism for cages is great if you have horizontal bars - once it's in, it isn't going anywhere. On the sides of the cage with vertical bars, no matter how tight I made it, the friction wouldn't hold it, so it slowly slid down to an unusable height for my hamsters. Additionally, they are all super easy to refill, just pop off the top and pour in more water as required. The medium sized bottles last well, but the small sized ones did need refilling noticeably more frequently. Now, onto the bad bits. Sadly, these bottles do still leak for me sometimes - at the moment they aren't too bad, but I have noticed on occasions quite a bit of water dripping out and the level in the bottle going down quite a lot. Not sure if there was some issue with how they were mounted originally, and after cleaning they were in a better position, or if it's just a random thing. Generally most people say these are much better for not leaking so perhaps my experience might be uncommon.More worryingly though, my hamsters do struggle a little bit to use these compared to the normal design for drinking bottles. Particularly my male hamster, who just generally gnaws higher up on the metal rather than at the bottom where the water is dispensed. He does manage to figure it out sometimes, but I still have started leaving a small dish of water in his cage which he seems more comfortable using. Again, this might just be my experience, but it really does make it difficult for me to give this a strong recommendation. All in all, these are good quality bottles, and I'm sure for many animals these will work well. If you're looking for a drinking bottle, and the traditional kinds don't work for you, then these are your next best option for sure.

I swear by them!
I swear by these water bottles. I have them for our Guinea Pigs, and also for our hamster. The reason for this is because they don't drip. Some of the standard bottles you get just drip out and makes the bedding all wet, and the bottle becomes empty really really quickly. They're very easy to assemble, and can be attached to a cage using the yellow screw, or you can use the 3 suction cups (included) to stick it to plastic cages. Now, I've only just got the one for the hamster, and already he seems to be climbing all over it, so I'm really hoping that the suction cup holds the water bottle well. But they seem to be doing perfectly fine for now.The only problem is that as I have this water bottle inside the hamster's cage using the suction cups, the hamster often pulls the blue lid off and hides it!Highly recommend this. Hope this review helps.

Leak!!!
I had one before, and it was so convenient and easy to fill I decided to buy another one. When arrived I noticed that was leaking a bit inside the cage, not good but wasn’t terrible. What I didn’t notice is that it was also leaking from the back and that water was going on the wooden floor under the cage. The result is a damage floor that we will have to spend hundreds to replace.I contacted the seller and Im waiting for a response, although a refund or an exchange won’t fix my floor. At the end a very expensive mistake.

Took Months to get Bun to drink from it
This.My bunny much prefers drinking from a bowl, but when he was ill, he had to spend time not moving, in his cage. I couldn't put a bowl there because he would knock it over. He had 2 of those metal ball bottles, both broke really fast. Decided to get this but the whole time he was ill he wouldn't drink from it. 6 months later and he's finally realised how to drink from it - he has this in his cage and a bowl in his enclosure. He NEVER drinks from this bottle, always his bowl. This bottle makes equally the same if not more noise from the traditional bottles.. it's also expensive. It's annoying to take off the cage so most of the time it stays there and doesn't get cleaned. It also leaks, not as much as the traditional bottles, but there's water staining on my cage floor which is odd because my bunny never uses it, so it obviously leaks. Not a great purchase if I'm honest, but at least I tried it.

Most excellent!
I have this watter bottle 3 years nearly and it's still in great condition. Never had any problems, fits everywhere thanks to good attachments. It's really easy to clean and refill. I'm absolutely happy with this purchase. Its It's definitely the best watter bottle ever and just bought another one as my guinea pigs prefer to drink from this one even when they have other ones yet those are the regular typical watter bottles and they are leaking every now and then, so swapping for this so there won't be no more fight over the preffered drinking bottle lol.Guinea pigs are really happy with it!
