Acoustic Foam 1-1/2" x 12" x 12" 2 Pieces UL 94

I use a Blue Yeti microphone for various purposes and I wanted to dampen some of the rebound sound and other noises in my office. This foam was inexpensive and lightweight and when positioned behind the mic did some of what I wanted. I may buy more and try to make a more defined enclosure. If I do, I will update this review.

The foam itself is fantastic. I can see dozens of uses for it in the garage and in gun safes. It is easy to cut and manipulate. The only drawback to the foam is the smell. It smells, not necessarily a bad smell, but a chemically type smell that really persists.

They work well enough to dampen sound, but they slowly begin to stink up a small office with a nasty chemical smell that gave me a headache. So at the end of the day I couldn't use them. Very unfortunate. They would be good for the inside of a briefcase or something like that.

It's exactly as described but has a really strong synthetic smell. I left it out for a week and the smell was still really strong. If you don't mind it then you'll be fine getting this. I'm a bit picky and don't like my stuff smelling like chemicals.

Pads are pretty stiff but work fine for my application. Used as padding in a case that holds my dive lights.

Arrived unharmed and well wrapped. They do give off a sour odor, so put them outside for a couple of days before use, perhaps.Triple A

These work pretty well to dampen sound reflection. Not the best, but for the price they're not bad. I'd recommend.

Good quality product, but overpriced. I would buy more, but can get it cheaper at a local fabric store. Thanks anyway.
