BEWARE there is a con artist on Amazon that goes by the company name " Cake SOS " that tries to replicate these beautiful and quality drums but are nothing more than a sham. Avoid them at all cost. I purchased this cake board to serve as the base for a diaper cake, and it worked perfectly! The ½-inch thickness makes it incredibly sturdy, so it held the weight of the diapers without bending or warping. The smooth, professional finish gave the diaper cake a polished look, and the white color blended beautifully with my design. Pros: - Super Sturdy: Easily supports the weight of a multi-tiered diaper cake. - Smooth, Clean Finish: Gives a professional, elegant look. - Thick & Durable: No bending or sagging, even with heavier decorations. - Perfect Size: The 12-inch diameter was ideal for a standard diaper cake base. - Reusable: I used a little tape to secure the middle tube, centering the diapers in place. After I delivered the diaper cake, I removed the diapers and adhesive from the cake board. The board was not damaged, so I can reuse it for another gift. Cons: - Single-Use: If you use it for a cake, it’s not reusable because you'll likely cut the board while slicing the cake. Plus, you can't wash the board with soap and water without damaging it. Final Verdict: A fantastic, high-quality cake board that works not just for cakes, but also for diaper cakes and other craft projects. If you need a sturdy, elegant base, this is a great choice!

These are my favorite cake boards. They are very sturdy and grease proof. They are the only ones I will use for my cake business.

These drums are pretty sturdy to hold tall cakes (I've placed upto 3lb of finished cake) and my guess is it can take couple more pounds. The edges are pretty and overall the look of the cake is enhanced. However the drum is actually 2 pieces- the top cake board which touches the cake has been separately stuck to a ore wrapped drum and as a result the seam is not clean. It is not easily visible once the cake goes on it, but the glues part keeps making a crinoline noise when handling making me worry that the glue will just come off one of these days and cause a disaster. Hope it doesn't happen. Other than this one issue, it is a great set for the price.

I used this as a base for a diaper cake. It was perfect for making a three tier cake. It was thick and sturdy and easy to use.

Cake boards were not completely flat which made them not ideal to use

I would really appreciate a refund as these are faulty. As soon as I added icing the discolouration seeped to the cake drum edges (see photos). I use cake drums all the time and this has never happened to me with other brands.

Great to have a stack of these on hand. White is better colour for kid's cakes than gold.
