Heat Surge Mini Mate Decorative Heater

This little heater is pretty to look at. I love watching the flames dance. But it's a space heater after all, and it kicks out some heat. I got one for my mom as a present since she's always cold. Her den is tiled and stays cool. That's great in the summer but needs an extra heat source for winter months. This heater is perfect for the job. It pumps out more heat than some larger more expensive ones I've seen. It's also a small size that's easy to move from room to room when needed. I'm going to buy another one for myself soon.

We bought the "Heat Surge Mini Mate Decorative Heater" for use in our camper & we have been more than pleased!! Puts out a great amount of heat!! One of the very best parts is there is no waiting for it to warm up!! As soon as you turn it on its putting out heat!! Another feature I really enjoy is that you can have the logs going & choose not to have the heat part on or vice versa.

Beware! If you're think you're getting a standard size looking fireplace, think again. It's about the size of a small guitar amplifier. No dimensions are given of it in how it's advertised so no way of knowing in advance how big it really is. I had to laugh when I received it because it was so tiny. I would not recommend this heater to anyone, don't care how good they say it heats! I returned it the very next day I received it. To make matters even worse I'm still waiting to be refunded, it's been a month ago that I returned it. Not sure who to blame here, Amazon or Heat Surge?

It's a great heater! We are full time camper and it is much cheaper to run than the propane heater in camper. We just bought our second unit. I love how it can be placed on any surface and ran all night without anything getting too hot around it. We have tried several different types/styles of heaters and this is by far the best unit we have ever owned. Completely satisfied.

Too small to make a difference. Nice ambiance but too little heat. Plus no return policy not good. No reason for thst.its not custom.

I have two of the larger heaters. This one does not compare to them in any way...even for a much smaller space it barely gives off any heat. You should always beware when there is a no return policy. A lesson learned.

It is nice looking and puts out a fair amount of heat. Do not, however, expect it to heat much more than a small room.

Works great, looks good but sometimes it works to great - would have given 5 stars if the heater had a thermostat.
