Medicine power (2000)

Many moons ago I purchased Oliver Shanti's album 'Well Balanced' which I really enjoyed. This is very much along the same lines. It undoubtedly would appeal to anyone enjoys a Native American flavour to their music, but it is very modern and very techno. It is not an album for those who like more traditional types of Native American chanting and drumming, but this album brings those traditions very much into a contemporary mode, and it is probably better suited to a younger audience on the whole. There are some nice ballady-type songs/chants mixed in with much faster rythmicy tracks too.If you have ever heard 'Well Balanced' then this is probably worth listening too as well.
