Plastic Envelopes?
It's true the cards are just index cards but they say to and from with lines for writing and a cute big heart in the background of it. The blank space on the other side makes it perfect for a collage. Punching out the shapes is a little overwhelming but definitely worth it. I found the colors, prints and quality of the punch out cards to be excellent and beautiful. This part of the project can be very tedious but absolutely perfect for my three year old. I punched out the entire shapes except a small portion of it, making it easier for my 3 year old to rip out. It was perfect, an activity we did together and she felt like she was helping me. She definitely got tired by the time we only completed one side of a card but that is fine because now this can be an extended long project that we could come back to again and again, since it was given to her one month before valentines day. We have a whole month to design cards for days! I gave her washable crayola paint and she painted on her words on one side. I definitely got my moneys worth. I think she loved pulling out the different shapes more than anything. The only thing that threw me off were the envelopes. Seriously, what is up with that? They were plastic bag envelopes, with the seal being on only one side, rather than the top. First of all plastic is bad for our environment and doesn't that cost your company more money, rather than a simple paper envelope? Second of all, how could the customer even design those envelopes let alone write on them if they wanted to, with a medium that is child friendly? Washable paint can not dry on that material, neither can you use washable markers, obviously. I tried to glue on some shapes and they barely stayed on. It was a bummer that we couldn't decorate the envelopes. I think your company should really change the envelope material, then your product would be perfect. Or at least, some stickers to stick onto the plastic bags.P.S. I love the fact that a portion of my purchase goes towards the diabetes research. And the tips on signs to look out for in children was awesome. Thank you.

Not well designed
Yes this allows one to exercise creativity in card design, but it is not user-friendly. I felt that it was necessary to punch out the shapes first because it is not easy to see what the shapes are because the background paper is the same pattern as the shapes. However It takes so long to punch out the paper shapes that it just leaves one feeling frustrated and sick of the toy before you even start, the glueing process is a pain also. The papers are not of a pretty texture and appearance either. finally, the card stock that you glue the shapes onto says in a very visible location "[...]". I do not appreciate having their advertisement on the card stock, especially when it detracts from the appearance of the cards.

Disappointed
this is not worth buying. My kids are pretty creative and I thought this would be a great idea for this years Valentines cards. First of all the cards are just index cards. REALLY. Just regular idex cards. I would have been happy with 4x6 cardstock. The decor was cute, but none were stickers. For the price I expected more than 10 valentines and some stickers. Don't waste your money. You would get a better deal if you bought cardstock and stickers separately.

Really didn't like the product
It is way over priced for what you get. Just postcard with punch out hearts and a stick of glue. No cute words like "Be my Valentine". Really disappointed with the product.

Very disappointed!
I was very disappointed in this product. It was supposed to come with 10 cards & 10 envelopes and it came with only 9 cards & 8 envelopes.

Kids had fun
My kids are having fun slowly making their own valentines day cards which is what is important to me. Would I buy this set again next year for them? Probably not. But that doesn't mean they are not enjoying it now.
