2 Pancake Pens Batter Dispenser 3-Cup Removable Top & Base Heat Resistant Tip

I love the idea of these pancake pens, but I have to admit...not as easy as I thought.Our batter hasn't been the most successful at very good shapes. I think this is because we make it too thin. Making shapes with pancake batter is fun, but I don't know if I want to make my batter super thick in order to get that!I wish the spout hole was smaller for thinner batter. (Maybe they could offer two kinds, based on how people like to make their batter?)Also, they are larger than I expected! This is great for holding more batter! But difficult for kids to maneuver and make designs because they are hard to hold.All this being said, I would definitely buy again because this has made an ordinary breakfast WAY MORE FUN!

IF you are looking for a pancake pen that does skinny, super thin lines, this is NOT it. What I love about this is how much control you have. I actually use it for my double Belgium waffle maker. It comes with a cup which is so messy. I bought these pens and they worked like a charm. I did NOT use it to make fun designs, but I don't think it would work that way. Get this as a way to have better control on the mess that comes with making breakfast!

I was so excited to get these and create some crazy pancake designs for my kids. I mixed the pancake batter in a bowl as I wasn't sure this item would have the capacity to do so. After everything was mixed, I poured the batter into the pen/dispenser. I screwed the lid on, and batter started to pour out the top. I thought maybe I was squeezing the pen so I put it on the counter, and the batter continued to pour out. I ended up dumping two pancakes worth of batter out before it stopped pouring out on its own. For me, I think they are still going to be fun, but for future reference, I will not fill the pen up all the way with batter.

I purchased these pens when I purchased the Baby Cakes Cake Pop machine. According to the reviews, these pens were the best way to fill the cake wells with batter.....and they were right. It is easy to fill the pens with batter due to the fact that the bottoms unscrew and they are also easy to clean because both the bottoms and tops are removable. You have to be able to work fast filling the cake wells so they all get done at the same time and this pen makes it possible with just a squeeze into each well. The price is right too. Definitely glad I read the reviews.

Started with the canister style pancake batter delivery system but the darn thing crushed in my hand so this was my solution. Love it! We found it most helpful with waffles. Makes the mess of measuring cups and bowls vanish. Nice wide nozzle so you can even add some chunks of your favorite nuts and fruits.Dishwasher safe but use the top rack to prevent melting.Bottles are pretty big. One filled with pancake batter will feed a family of 3 for breakfast. And if you have leftovers, these fit right in the door of the fridge.

good inexpensive pancake pen. Beats paying more for fancier one. It does it's job. It takes a bit to control the flow depending on the consistency of the pancake mixture, but I'm able to make fun shapes, hearts and smiley faces for my girl

The only problem with these are the family wants pancakes all the time now. On a plus, they like to help make them. Everyone wants to make their own design.These are really nice. The red bottom unscrews so that you can easily pour the batter in and then you squeeze. The tip is a soft red silicone so if you touch the griddle or pan, it won't melt.

Wish they came with tips that you could you could put on them to get finer lines. It puts out quite a bit. Takes some practice...but Im getting ok with it.
