Sunlite Hybrid V-Track Tires

I ride my old road bike year round in a midwest university. Since it often does snow, I need something that can get me some traction in light snow. These allow me to just use one bike. I don't think I could use a mountain bike as they are just too slow unless they are expensive enough to be desirable to steal (>$100 here). Cracks develop in the sidewall earlier than they should, especially since I don't leave my ride outside. However, this could just be due to the overly salty roads.

I thought I had a winner here. Yet, today, after a couple of months of neighborhood riding, the tires are failing. They are distorting and after I finally took one off my bike and looked at it, I could see that construction felt firm in some areas and quite broken down in others. I guess I got what I paid for. Not again.

Bought a pair of these for an old 10 speed road bike I'm restoring.these look really good, and get decent traction when riding on a softsurface. no complaints .Edit : just recently completed a ride on tneC & O canal tow path, and these tires did very well on the 38 mileround trip ride. Very satisfied !

Great price and styling for economy tires, (actually 1-3/8" size). A little wider than 1-1/4, 1-1/8 or even 1". The wider width may better be used with blue tire-liners rather than the usual 27" red ones. I purchased these for the overhaul of my 1970's Sears Free-Spirit all-steel road/racing bike.To prolong the life of the gum wall due to breakdown from the elements, it is recommended to keep the tires away from sunlight.

perfect fit, high puncher resistants, fits perfectly on the rim and bike a great product will be ordering more for my other bike.

The tires are great. Nice ride, well designed traction tread. I like them.

Good on asphalt and on bricks. I live on a brick road and it rains good in Pennsylvania. These tires will grip on wet days.

Like the tire but i did purchase twice the firstbuy was cheaper than the second one. But the first buy was refunded. Apparently the seller realized this problem and made a refund to my card. Again the tires are at a great buy cheaper is always better.
