Helix Magnetic Blackboard and Whiteboard Metre Rule

Please forgive the pun! Great ruler. Big and sturdy and great for the classroom. USP is that you can pull it apart and it fits easily in your bag. Awesome.

It's a good enough product, but it's not metal.....it's plastic with embedded magnets. So if you want metal (I did) don't buy.

Doesn't stay on board. What's the point?

This is fine - is was only disappointing to find out my new whiteboard isn't magnetic! apparently I have to write some more words

Purchased this for large glass magnetic board. Unfortunately the magnet on the ruler is not strong enough to penetrate the glass element of the board so was rendered useless for the reason I purchased it.However I checked it against a “normal” white board and the magnetic element worked perfectly well.One key point is that the ruler comes in 3 pieces and needs to be put together. They claim this is for storage which it does help with but I feel it reduces the sturdiness of the ruler. This can impact on the ability to draw straight lines....The protruding handle is a nice feature.

Easy to assembly. Good weight. Good grip.

The central part of the ruler is missing, and instead I have duplicate end pieces.

The ruler is ok but the magents aren't strong enough to hold its own weight on the whiteboard in my classroom.
