I absolutely loved this book. Reading into the first few chapters, I knew this is a book that I would definitely give to anyone seeking guidance on how to live life on the faith lane.Pastor Brian's honesty, sincerity and humility to glorify God not only in his ups, but more so in the most difficult periods of his life, is such a great reminder of God carrying us through. Exposing his heart during those vulnerable moments... it taught me so much of God's heart for all of us. We never come second when we put God first!This book is gold! Loved every page! Highly recommended!

I already liked Brian Houston before reading this book, but now I can say that I LOVE him. What an incredibly honest, transparent, and inspiring leader he is!As a young leader I so appreciate that Brian was willing to pull back the curtain into his life and share both successes and failures. It's incredibly inspiring and motivational!Perhaps the best part of this book is the central focus on Jesus. We see leaders on big stages and forget that they're human beings just like us. Brian is honest in giving his credit back to Jesus in everything, not claiming credit the scale and impact of his ministry!Thank you Brian!

I read this book in 2 days! Once I started I couldn't let go. Full of wisdom!Today Hillsong Church is amazing, buy wow.... Not everything has been smooth sailing... Pastor Brian shares his real life struggles and how God has always pulled him and Hillsong Church forward every time. This book has inspired me to have stronger faith and learn to trust God in every season of my life.

This book reminded me of the book The Facebook Effect. The Facebook Effect was a book on the history of Facebook that was encouraged and supported by the founder of Facebook. As a person who loves Facebook I just loved every one of the hundreds of pages. This book was the same for me. I love Hillsong church and I love Brian and Bobbie Houston and reading all about Brian was fascinating to me.This book has many faith lessons in it. It has many scripture accounts and much of the book is a history of Hillsong church, not for the sake of a history lesson as such, but each story told by Brian PERFECTLY illustrates the faith lesson he is teaching at the time.It is so refreshing to hear such a well accomplished pastor who has pioneered multi campus churches in Australia and around the world, speak on the subject of pioneering. It is exciting to hear Brian share that we all need to find our purpose in this world and excel in it.I am sure that you will find this book refreshing, enlightening, empowering and a good background story of the history of one of the most popular churches in the world.One of the favourite things I like about an author is when they tell personal stories. The level of transparency and honesty that Brian shares with is outstanding. To hear that one of your hero's went through suffering and trauma encourages you to press on when things are going a bit hard for you too. I am sure that Bran could have made his points he was making without being so transparent but that obviously isn't his style of sharing truths.I have to confess, I have only heard Brian preach four times and have not been to Hillsong more than twenty times in my life. Most of my knowledge of the character of Brian and Bobby came through two prophetic words the Lord had me do for them and send to them on CD. Wonderful, inspiring story from a church and a man who listen first for the voice of God, and then act accordingly. I love the honesty of this book! That was my main reason for purchasing it. I admire those who have walked through the fire and come out the other side - maybe a little scarred, but with a fresh spirit and insight that they are usually willing to share. Pastor Houston is to be commended on many levels.

What an incredible hope filled book. Everything you would expect from Brian Houston. Live Love Lead, is a look behind the scenes of leadership. A look at how you lead, through life's ups and downs, successes and failures. I highly recommend this book, and encourage every leader to approach their own leadership with this kind of vulnerability and honesty.

One of the best inspirational and positive books I have read for any new or established Christian. Brian Houston the leader of a world wide church shares the personal experiences of his family and the building of the church foundations on the principals of his Christian faith in Jesus through all the peaks and valleys.

I love how Pastor Brian Houston shares his own life lessons and how we can learn from the past and use it as platform to embrace our future. We all have a calling , no matter what we have gone through or currently struggling with, God has not forgotten us, He has a bright future for us. I recommend this book for anyone who is struggling to move forward in the next phase of life or feels completely stuck, alone or unsure what the future holds. I give this a five star rating due to the rawness of honesty and openness shared to help others Live, Love, Lead and discover again deeply their God given life purpose.
