Fountain

Ok I know the author who took me on a private tour of the book. However, I only moved to this area and still fell in love with it's history through this wonderful pictorial trip back in time. I cant wait to get her next work in progress!

This book is well organized and contains a large variety of photos from my hometown. Okay, I'll admit that I'm biased being from Fountain! I really enjoyed the visual history lesson. You can't get the same experience by reading about it.

My parents grew up in Fountain and my grandparents lived there until their deaths. Still have folks in Fountain. So there are many photos and items in the book that bring back memories. I bought one for myself and my sister.

An excellent history of home. The pictures provide a wonderful story of the Fountain even before I knew it. A great read.

Read this if you have any interest at all in the Fountain Valley, Colorado Springs or Colorado history. You are sure to learn a lot about the early settlers and their families which still thrive in the area.
