Boston Leather Universal Radio Holder - NA

The leather is a good quality and I don’t have any problems with durability. The metal attachments are durable. The stretch strap that fits over the top of the radio came untied the first time I used it. Apparently the manufacturer did not know how to tie a quality knot. I fixed it with a better knot.As to radio fit, I would say that if you have a radio with a bulky lapel microphone attachment (the part that connects the microphone to the radio) would be a snug fit, however you can probably cut the leather to fit a little bit better. My radio is a Harris XG-75 with a Harris lapel microphone attachment.

This radio case is really sturdy and stands up to getting wet and dirty in a fire. This is the sturdiest radio holder I've had in 25 years of firefighting. The only thing I do not like is the elastic that secures the radio in place. The knot to secure the elastic is on the inside of the radio case and gets caught when taking the radio in and out of the case. I reversed it, and now its perfect!! It fits our older Motorola and new Harris radios.

I am a paramedic that works two rural ems jobs I got this because my radio was always falling off my belt the holster holds up great had it a few months now it formed to the Kenwood we use I am very pleased with it everyone on my shift and the next shift have ordered one and the straps as well

Bought to use at work, carries Hytera pd 982 and pd 982g easy with room to spare. Add a Boston Leather strap and anti sway strap and your in business. Been working EMS for 27 years and it’s helped me to carry my radio more. (Easy to leave your radio in the truck)!

All the Boston leather products I have had for over 10 years in the fire service. Perfect thickness and durability. Very sturdy they have held up for over 10 years.
