Excellent value tuna which only contains tuna, not a bunch of water!
This Bumblebee tuna is an excellent value. You get 43 oz of pure tuna which indicates it's packed in water, but there is very little water. There is so little water, that you don't need to drain it off whatsoever. It is just pure tuna and it's delicious. It's not the albacore, but it's the tuna of your childhood. With 43 oz, we were able to make multiple meals as well as freeze a couple of 10 oz bags. I could eat tuna several times a week, but not everybody in my house feels the same. However, they didn't complain when I served them tuna 3 days in a row in different salads and open face tuna sandwiches with fresh grown tomatoes. This is the perfect tuna to accompany your favorite tuna friendly recipe. It came packaged in a thick airtight sealed bag which lasts for a long time in the fridge. We had it in there for a week, but decided to freeze the rest of it. I would be purchasing this on a monthly basis if my family love tuna as much as me!

It’s good enough
august 2025 purchase was a good deal, more affordable than the warehouse clubs. the best by date is march 2028, shipped to Michigan. at .75¢-ish a can, it’s a good time to stock up. It’s not all big pieces but it’s not overly shredded and watery either- it looks adequate and acceptable when drained. If not making tuna salad sandwiches, i mix this with mac and cheese or white beans and salad dressing.
