The Natural Deodorant Co, Active Deodorant Balm Mint + Eucalyptus 55g

I have sensitive skin and a bit of OCD when it comes to deodorant and anti-perspirants. We're forever being told about "nasties" we shouldn't be putting on our skin and I was looking for a different alternative. I'd used a rock stick for a while and that worked (up to a point) but I disliked having to wet it to use it and it having no real scent. This Active Deodorant Balm was a unique concept to me and I was very sceptical at first. But I'll give most things a try and took a punt. The idea of rubbing a balm onto my own armpits seemed a bit weird at first but I soon got the hang of it. This Orange & Bergamot version definitely has a more natural smell to it than so many of the artificially scented products out there. (They do a coconut version too which smells lush!) The smell isn't over powering and doesn't bother me in the slightest. The balm initially feels a little bit gritty but quickly smooths and dissolves onto the skin and dries quite quickly too. It doesn't leave any "white claggyness" behind (like some of the stick deodorants do) and there's no rub off onto clothing that I've noticed. The boon for me is twofold... I have no skin reaction to this product at all (even after shaving my armpits) and it washes off in the shower leaving clean skin (most other deodorants seem to leave a film on the skin that is almost impossible to get off without scrubbing your pits raw or using some unhealthy grade cleaner to remove it). The pot is a good size and I can see that it is going to last so the price isn't that bad either. Will I buy it again? Definitely! Do I recommend it to others? Oooooh, yes!!! :)

I bought this because the previous natural deodorant I was using just wasn’t good enough for me. I sweat quite a bit, and it simply wasn’t cutting it during the day. This one, though, has been much more effective than any other natural deodorant I’ve tried. The only slight inconvenience is that it’s a balm, so you have to apply it with your hands and then wash them afterwards because of the texture. That said, it’s absolutely worth it for how well it works. It dries relatively quickly, I haven’t needed to reapply during the day, and it’s kept me feeling fresh even on busier days. I also really like that, although a little bit has transferred onto my tops occasionally, it hasn’t stained anything — which is really important with deodorant. The eucalyptus and mint fragrance smells really fresh and clean without being overpowering, and there are loads of other scents to choose from as well. I started with the travel/trial size first, which was a great option before committing to the full size, and I’ve since gone on to buy the larger version. Overall, a really good price for something that actually works properly.

I have been using this for about a month now. At first I was unsure, but I wouldn’t go back to aluminium anti persirants now. This actually keeps me fresh, even after a workout. It feels little bit sandy at first, but it melts into your skin quickly and you can get dressed without waiting. No staining of clothes either. The scent is subtle but fresh. I use a tiny amount on each armpit, about the size of a petit pois! The jar seems small but it lasts ages, I still have more than half left. The only slight negative is that the lid gets cross threaded every time, but I’m used to it now! Would definitely recommend.

My first time using this type of deodorant as I’m used to spray deodorants but I’ve found it works very well to keep body odour at bay throughout the day for up to about 24 hours. It has a grainy paste texture with a light orange scent which quickly dissipates once it’s absorbed into the skin, I’ve found I sweat less with it on but unfortunately when it wears off I’ve realised that my body odour smells very different (and worse) to what it did before with spray deodorants which is odd, maybe due to it being suppressed or something? I don’t know but that isn’t a great side effect of using it. I’d also prefer it to have a stronger scent like the spray ones which makes you feel and smell fresh, this isn’t that kind of deodorant which is a shame.

Amazing! Ive tried quite a few natural deodorant over the years and never really settled. And this one didnt grab me at first as it was a cream with no applicator, so I tried the little sample size and like omg.... hooked. Its not cheap, but there is loads of it, so I guess will last a while. My only gripe is the pot lid doesn't fit so well, so its annoying to screem on and off, but I think ill live and the product is great!. If anyone is conflicted, then go grab a sample size they sell on here first and let that convince you.

I'm pretty active most days and have tried many deodorants but this is the best by far. Lasts all day no problem. Several lovely fragrances, the glass jar and the low tox is a big bonus for me. I dont mind applying with my fingers but I often use a cosmetic spatula too.

Brilliant! Smells lovely! Lasts at least 24hrs. I usually have bumpy/rashy arm pits and I’ve been using this for the past week and they have cleared up already.

I was a big fan of this deodorant until my arm pits went red and had to discontinue use... I don't react to anything really so I was surprised that my skin reacted to this... Shame as I really liked this product. Revised... The seller has been excellent at resolving this issue... Highly recommend this seller and their products.

Fantastic-no stink! Been using The Deodorant Company “active” deodorant for 6 months. It works super well! It can irritate a little going on due to tue baking soda, but I’ve honestly gotten used to it-it works so well! Better than the non-baking soda deodorants out there. Mint eucalyptus smells amazing! Fresh and light! Tip: after showering and drying off-apply witch hazel to your underarms and allow to dry-this kills off any smelly bacteria that survived the shower-apply deodorant when that’s dry. (Witch hazel is also a great facial toner-tightens everything up!) I’ve also used Little Seed Farm Blue Lotus and cedar vanilla no baking soda deodorant paste-and they’re nice but I get just a little smelly.

I have had soool much trouble finding a good aluminum free deodorant. I started making my own deodorant because I gave up on finding a good one. They always either didn't deodorize at all, we're too expensive, or left stains on all my shirts. The deodorants I made had to keep being reapplied to continue being effective at blocking odor and didn't really cut it when I was working out. I finally found this brand. OMG! It's AMAZING. I apply it after my shower in the afternoon and I don't have to apply it again until after my shower the next day. I have always had to apply deodorant in the morning when I wake up. I do not have to do that any more. And it lasts through my workouts. The smell is very pleasant when I put it on. Then it fades and just smells like nothing. If I smell my armpits after a really tough workout, I just smell nothing. I LOVE that. I don't need it to be super scented all day. Now, for anyone who doesn't realize this, aluminum-free deodorant still allows your body to sweat. Sweating is healthy and natural. It is not good to block your sweat glands with deodorant. So do not say this deodorant isn't working because you still sweat. If you don't want to sweat, no aluminum free deodorant is going to help you.

Éfficace ! Enfin une marque natuelle qui marche et ou je ne sens pas la mort à la fin de la journée. Avant j'utilisais les Schmidt's puis ils ont changé leur formule et ce n'était plus aussi bien. Après avoir testé un paquet de déo en phamacie rien ne marchait convenablement. Je suis vraiment ravie après des mois d'errance olfactive, j'ai enfin une solution. Je l'ai appliqué après rasage sous les bras, je n'ai pas été irrité ou génée. Je n'avais jamais essayé de déo crème, cela s'applique très bien même avec très peu et c'est efficace. Pas de trace blanche sur les vétements.

Gut aber sehr teuer!!!
