Ok but not what I was hoping for.
When I first purchased this I thought that it would be somewhat more compact and lighter than a blow up mattress and therefor perfect for taking out when I needed to head to a more remote campsite. After a couple of uses I’m not very pleased with it.First, this is not nearly as comfortable as I’d hoped for it to be. It’s really similar to laying on a thin foam pad. It’s better than nothing, but barely. It takes a while to inflate and even when I’m trying to blow it up manually most of the air just comes right back out. Id say it took 20-30 min to inflate each time I’ve used it so far. I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten it fully inflated. On the plus side, this pad is really easy to deflate and roll back up. The button snaps make for a quick clean up and it fits right back into its bag every time.I won’t be using this by itself any more to sleep on the ground when I’m camping, but I do plan on using it when I have my camping cot. I figured it would make that a bit more comfortable.

Worked as advertised - used it on a kayaking/camping trip
I got this pad for an18 day sea kayaking trip, which involved camping in some pretty primitive settings. The pad inflated as advertised, although I did top it off with a few breaths. The inflatable pillow is a nice touch. I did find that when the pillow was fully inflated it was like putting my head on balloon. But, when I inflated it about 3/4 of the way, it worked really well. I did find that covering it with shirt helped. Without a cover, the pillow material was a bit uncomfortable.Deflating was easy and usually took only a few minutes. I had to make sure I had the pad rolled up as compressed as possible so it would fit in one of my kayak's hatches.Although this pad worked great for the kayak trip, it might be a little bulky for backpacking. But, I'm not sure yet. Anyway, I recommend this pad. It is very comfortable and I slept well every night.

Not happy with the quality
I've been using a similar product from another manufacturer for 3 years. It was no longer available on Amazon, so I picked up this Freeland pad with the same specs as an alternative. I spend about 60-70 days each summer living out of my tent, camping on both my motorcycle and in my plane. I decided to get a second set of gear to keep one with each vehicle. The Freeland pad was pretty much the same as my other pad as far as comfort and ease of use. It was about 1.5" thick after adding a few puffs of air and as a 175 lb. side sleeper, I was quite comfortable. No sore hips or back in the morning. Size-wise it was perfect for applications where packed size and weight are important.I was very happy with this pad until it decided to stop holding air after about 40 nights of use. I determined that the leak was from one of the two air valves at the base of the pad. In other words, not fixable. All I can say about this sleeping pad is that it worked great, until it didn't. My 3 year old similar pad from another manufacturer is still going strong.

Love this pad! We have 2!
I got one of these pads initially as a gift for my partner who is trying to have a nicer arsenal of outdoor gear. When he opened it up and tested it out, I was instantly jealous and had to get one for myself. Plus, how cute is it that they snap together?! It’s nice that it keeps them from sliding under one another during the night as well. I find it to be an excellent insulator from the cold ground, and is exceptionally comfortable. The pillow is such a plus too, especially that you can inflate it to your liking. Obviously it’s not the smallest or lightest pad on the market, but the price and comfort make up for it. One note: make sure you read the inflation instructions and follow them! I think people who are complaining about it not staying inflated are not following the directions!Overall, I would definitely recommend this pad! I can’t say I would recommend it to someone backpacking for more than a few days, but only because I personally have not done that and I know it’s not the lightest pad on the market. However, if sleeping comfort is your #1 priority, definitely pick this up!I will try to remember to take a picture of them to add to this review!

Very comfortable, but not usable without the pillow.
I bought these hoping to use them without inflating the pillows as I've never found inflatable pillows comfortable. Received them yesterday and inflated them according to the instructions (they're on the tag inside the stuff sack). The pads seem to be well-made and sturdy, and they're VERY comfortable. I also love the width (compared to my old Thermarest Ultralight, the width is extravagant!). Unfortunately, if you don't plan to use the pillow, they are just too short. I'm 5'5", and without the pillow, either my feet or my head hang off the pad. Just wanted to put this out there in case anyone was thinking of doing this.
