This is NOT a 10% solution. The concentration of this solution is 0.1M or 0.1moles/liter. A 1.0 molar solution is a solution in which 1 mole of a compound is dissolved in a total volume of 1 liter. Silver Nitrate reacts with Sodium Thiosulfate to produce Silver Thiosulfate. Silver Thiosulfate is often used to block the action of ethylene in plants which can force female plants to produce male pollen sacs and self pollenate.
