Must-have for the 1970-1990 collector
This long out of print deck and book set should be in every tarot collection especially if you appreciate the creative work being done in the second half of the 20th Century. With his deep knowledge of art, Brian Williams was able to redraw the old tarot icons and system in a simple post modern style. With his deeply refined wit, Brian wrote a delightfully clever and entertaining book to accompany his reimagined post modern tarot. We lost Brian Williams many years ago, a tarot luminary extinguished far too young, and I cannot imagine what marvelous work he'd be doing these days.

An intelligent deck with a sense of humor! I LOVE it!
As a collector of unique tarot art, this is one of the best decks that I've found. The tarot suits have been reimagined into such modern interpretations as the "Guns" and the "TV Sets." Each card is a parody of a work of post-modernist art. Instead of the Ace of Wands, Whistler's Mother sits alone watching TV. With parodies spanning most of the 20th century, this deck is a treat for art lovers as well. Fun, funny, and it is a deck that makes you look at the cards in a different way. I LOVE this deck!
