I like stainless steel because I've read that teflon is unhealthy to cook on. This stainless steel pan is AS easy to clean as teflon, but without health risks. And it's a very pretty design too.

The first time using the pan acquired burn marks cooking a steak. Second time the food stuck and burned at medium heat. Poor quality & no non-stick capability. Bought for use in oven when needed. Not worth the $$.

We met the manufacturer at an industry show in Chicago last year and even bought a sample frypan on the way out. The show was filled with cheap cookware you could almost bend, but not this stuff. I LOOOOVE the thickness of these pans - they are solid like a tank! We have an induction stove top and find we can cook on settings several below our other pans because these pans distribute heat really well, and heat fast! Hubby likes his eggs and our fry pans is a breeze with a little oil on medium heat, wipe clean when done. I was thrilled to hear they had these pans on Amazon now and will be picking up several for gifts.

I received this 12" fry pan for Christmas this year, and I know it's not the most glamorous gift, but I still love it. I've already used it several times now, to cook various things. I do wish it came with a lid though. I am attempting to find out from the maker if a lid from one of their other pots would fit. Have plenty of lids for other pots, and one of them is a half way good fit. I find the deepness of this pan is great and it will hold quite a bit of food. It is able to sear meat easily and cleans up nicely too.
