Dill-icious 10-Minute Pickle Kit & Refill Set

I’ve been wanting to try pickling, and thought for the price I should give this a try. Was very quick to use, and the pickles came out tasting better than store bought. Will try normal picking in the future, but this was a nice first time try to give me a better view of how it’s done.My one suggestion if you get this is to cut your pickles into what I see labeled at the store as burger chips (sideways). I thought I’d do cucumber cuts length wise, and as soon as I took one out of the jar after a few days the brine dropped by a lot. I hadn’t thought of this and ended up running into lack of brine on parts of the pickles due to the length of the cucumber cuts.

I Have been making my own "garlic dill" pickles for some time now. The recipe I have instructs you to keep in the refrigerator overnight though. So when I saw 10 minutes I thought I should try it .I bought the "kit" which has instructions, a cute little canning jar, and I believe, 4 packets of seasoning, which includes your salt and dill among other spices. I did not use the jar that came with the kit because who wants to make only 9 oz of pickles. So I used my quart size mason jars and uses 2 packets per quart. I also added some fresh dill from my herb garden. So after ten minutes the pickles were O.K. but they were really tasty after they were left in the refrigerator overnight. Which they also tell you in the instructions . Over all I just think this kit is fun I have ordered the refills at least twice now. And I tried the "horseradish " flavor as well, but am not as fond of that one. I tried Improving it by adding some dill, But the dill ended up overpowering the other spices so whats the point. I really like the "Dill-icious" flavor though!

I was looking for something to do with my extra garden cucumbers, but really didn't want to tackle the whole canning and boiling and pickling situation. I found this and thought I would give it a try. The kit comes with the jar, instructions and 5 seasoning packets. It really is 10 minutes, it's so easy to make and the pickles are ready next day. I even got my kids to help out and now they are eating pickles. The seasoning is great and tastes really good, since the cukes are garden fresh they are so crispy. I've been eating a jar every few days and then making more. The jar fits about a cuke and a half. Totally recommend this and will be buying more seasoning packets.

This is the easiest way to make pickles! I first found this kit in a kitchen shop in Wimberley, Texas. I love pickles so I had to have it. Made them as soon as I got home. Then, I needed more! If you can boil water and slice a cuke, you can make your own pickles. They will stay good for 3 weeks but who am I kidding?! Their gone in a couple of days. Seriously good pickles.

Great first time way to pickle!

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She loved it! Thought it was fun to try this. Came with awesome spices to pickle up and it sounded like it went well.

We are growing pickling cucumbers in our garden this year. It's our first time making pickles. This kit is super simple to use (thanks for providing the pickling jar) and the pickles taste delicious. My kids demolish the pickles. I demolish the pickles. Fortunately, we keep making batches since we have the garden and the refills! If you like making pickles or this is your first time trying, buy this! I'm telling you, these pickles are yummy!

I love my pickles at the between pickle and cucumber stage. I also used it on peppers. Pretty cool.
