Excellent item, but needs larger pockets & sleeves please!
This item is an excellent tool to get things in order. I purchased this product 3 separate times for relatives recently. My Grandmother recently passed and this item would have made life so much easier if she had had one. One issue/suggestion I have is about the folder pockets and clear document holders....the entire sheet is only 8-1/2 x 11. 1/2" is used for the 3 ring binder holes, therefore, you must fold documents or they will not fit in either of these. This is a huge oversight and should be corrected in future reprints. Now I'm going to have to purchase my own folder pockets and clear document holders to supplement this book. If both of these items had been 9"x11" I would have given it a full 5 stars!Setting this issue aside, the product is incredibly useful. I would recommend this product.

A Little Overwhelming
I purchased this item to organize our bills, policies, etc in the event someone had to come in and try to take over these tasks. It was important to me because I have just gone through this as my father passed a month ago and it got me to realize that my kids did not have the slightest idea what we have.I assumed that it would have places for life insurance policies and the like - which it does - however there is so much more. My husband and I are very simple people -we do not have investments and such and this organizer is set up for complete portfolios. For me as an adult with ADD, this organizer is totally overwhelming. Therefore, I have not finished compiling information. I probably could have used one that is less comprehensive. If you have a lot of investments and such, then you would truly benefit by this product.Don't cringe, but I am thinking of removing the pages that do not apply and utilizing only those that pertain to our situation. It will be far less complicated for our survivors.

Great Idea - not great delivery
Many wasted pages in this book. Whole sections of 'sample pages' to throw out. The three ring binder does not fit normal 8 1/2 x 11 sized pages nor the standard sized clear pocket pages. You have to use the ones they provide and if not enough - out of luck I guess.Would have been SO much better if it handled full sized documents. If you want to put in a copy of your will, you have to scan it, reduce the size, print it, trim the edges, punch holes in an awkward arrangement or put it on a disk in pdf or word format. If you print out pages to insert, you have to cut them down to fit into the smaller than normal pocket pages.I purchased a few of these 'In Case of Emergency' and/or 'If I Die' Organizers and this one, though a good idea, is not in my top 3.

You will be organized and at peace
This is a well thought out organizer. It is not complicated at all and will meet most people's needs to organize their financial and personal life so that you and others may understand and be able to retrieve any documents and information should the necessity arise. I'm glad I found this because its not easy getting your important information in order and this organizer not only has places for everything but makes it so you can see what you need to do with helpful tips and information for every category. You may not use all of the categories, that's fine just exclude them from the binder. It also makes it easy to update information as it has lots of extra blanks. Everybody should have a plan like this because its incredibly hard to gather information and documents after the fact. Really grateful to the author for putting this together.

Useful
I felt like I had to get my personal information organized. It offers guidance and things I hadn't thought of but there is also some unnecessary pages. The sleeves are not standard size so I had to fold some things.

Great organizer
This thing is great for organizing everything in one place. I like to pockets provided. The sheet protectors were small. They did not fit a standard piece of paper, so I had to trim papers to fit. That was the only negative.

Ran into some health issues last year (2014)
It made me think about what would happen if - universe forbid - something "unforeseen" were to occur. Would my Significant Other know all my stashes and my property catalogues, and my jewelry - what was real and what was fake? Where my accounts are? What credit cards I hold? My "End of Life" decisions or Medical Power of Attorney papers - would he know or have them? This helps you collect all the info in one, handy, easy to use and utilize place that will help give you - and your loved ones - some piece of mind.

A gift for your children.
Don't burden your children. This text give you a place to start and it is comprehensive. Don't expect to complete this in a few short hours. It does prompt you to make decisions in areas you haven't thought about. Your children will be grateful that you planned for your inevitable death and located the info they'll need in one place. It is a gift they will be grateful to receive. The vendor exceeded expectations with their "very good" condition rating. The book looks brand new, was shipped promptly, and received in perfect condition. I highly recommend both book and vendor.

Handy and At Your Finger Tips
This is a really helpful binder as you can keep all your important information well organized and close at hand. I have one and also purchased one for a friend. I heard back from my friend and she is delighted with binder. I find it is so much easier to have all my information in one binder rather than spread out in various files or locations. As I get older if will be helpful for others to know exactly where to find important information. I plan on also putting into it stories and memories of my family.
