The red color is not too bright, but I could see doubling them up on an outlet to get more RED light in a larger area. I would like to believe that I'm saving money since these LED lights use about half a watt of energy. That beats 40 watts any day. I'm going to order a few more in RED and AMBER to place all around the house to see where the colors and configurations work the best. Right now, I have one in the master bathroom and the other in the master bedroom. They are great on the eyes when you have to move around the house at night. The one in the bathroom stays on because very little light gets in when I turn the lights off, even though there is a window. I guess the sensor could use some adjusting to compensate for low-light situations. However, I'm not worried because it's only using about half a watt, and that's way better than what was running before.

This is exactly what I was looking for to place in my bedroom and hallway lights. The light is perfect and is enough to illuminate the space without being harmful to your eyes and body while asleep and resting. The package arrived as listed and works wonderfully. I plan on ordering a few more for the other rooms in my house as well. I would definitely order from this vendor again and this product again in the future.

Bought these for my husband who has difficulty sleeping. These appear to make zero difference in his life. However, much to my surprise, they have made a really big difference in my life. Getting up to pee at night and turning on the bright bathroom light made it hard for me to go back to sleep. Thanks to this red light, suddenly I'm getting a lot more sleep! It's brighter than I expected it to be, yet no more late night sleep disturbance. I'm so happy with this product I'm back on this page to buy more for the rest of the house.

I don’t if maybe I received a defected pair, or what. It isn’t bright at all. It stays on all day unless I unplug it. Disappointed!

I've had a lot of nightlights and insomnia throughout my life. After a doctor suggested I switch them all to red rather than blue light or white light bulbs, I started falling back to sleep much faster than in the past. Apparently Blue light (and then green) is the worst color for people who wake during the night to use. Red is the best, orange is second best. We started replacing our night lights with red bulbs and those take more energy than this product does, and do not last as long as these newer lights do. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend these to friends and family.
