Basics of Retaining Wall Design 11th Edition: A design guide for earth retaining structures

Great book but a but over technical for my needs
Lots of formulae for working out how big a retaining wall to build. Difficult to use for my project because they all require soil characteristic parameters which can only be found from having soil samples analysed. I really needed some rules of thumb to help with a small garden project.More of a text book for trainee civil engineers, but interesting and comprehensive nonetheless.

Useful
Very useful and practical book for practicing engineers. Gets into the concrete design which many texts lack.

Good for Some
The book was good, IF you are a college student studying Structural Engineering. More of a Textbook. Not for the average DIY-ers, unless you understand engineering mathmatics.

good book
This book must be recalled. Too many errors. Makes following the book so confusing.
