The mortar (bowl shaped): outside body diameter 10cms, outside height 10cms, cavity depth 5.5cms, cavity diameter 8cms.The pestel: length 11cms, diameter on broader end 4cms.👍Original authentic green granite marble. The finishing of the product is excellent. The exterior as well as interior has been polished well thus exposing the natural pattern of the green marble. All the edges and grooves has been well polished such that there is no rough edges. Good craftsmanship. Heavy and effective. Careful! If it slips and fall on your toes you'll get injured. Extreamly durable, supposed to last lifetime unless lost not to mention a head turner for your kitchen. People will ask about it and appreciate it's quality.👎🏿The pestel and mortar have been carved out of two different blocks of granite as the mortar is dark green and pestel is pale green. It would have been better if both were similar in colour.👉🏼This is 4 inch model there is another 5 inch model which has larger cavity and a little less in weight (due to larger cavity).

Good quality ston

This is exactly what I was looking for, neither too small nor too big. Its size is perfect for crushing 1 tbsp of anything such as ginger and garlic, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, dried red chilies, etc. The finishing is also very good, edges are properly smoothed out and no dust or loose gravel coming out during its operation, so no need to season it with salt or sugar or rice before using. Also it was packed quite well with adequate polystyrene (thermocol) support to prevent it from getting damaged during transit. Overall, quite happy with it. Would definitely recommend to everyone, must have in the kitchen.

As it is cruved inside, it can be easily moved and crushed.Other brands are not providing that curved design.So I'm fully satisfied with this product and will definitely recommend it to others.Worth for the price.
