Problem Solving with C++, Student Value Edition plus MyProgrammingLab with Pearson eText -- Access Card Package (9th Edition) 9th Edition

The bound version of this book was required by my instructor. This saves you quite a bit of money, which is awesome for the budget-minded student. However, the hole spacing is such that, when the loose sheets are put in a binder, they rub on the levers that open & close the rings.As for the book, it's... okay. There is certainly a lot of information and quite a bit is covered. Burn it isn't very engaging (read boring and dry) and important summaries are often pages away from where they should logically be placed (as are code examples.There are lots of review questions and coding exercises along the way, so if you can live with those gripes you'll end up learning a lot, which isthe overall goal, iI suppose :-)This comes with a code for 12 months of MyProgrammingLab, so long after you're done with the course, you can continue to practice.
