It worked great in the bath tub. Easy to use and easy to clean. The top part pops off for easy cleaning and you could leave it in place while you shower if you pop the top the water will flow down the drain. The suction is secure to keep the water in the tub while bathing. The size is perfect it's not too big or too small.

I bought this because I removed the metal built in stopper to my tub. It was not holding the water in properly but I didn't want to have to purchase a lot of hardware to replace the metal stopper. This little stopper really does the job! It just sits on top of your drain and is easily opened and closed. It really works and I was plesantly surpised at such a great product for such a low price.On a different note, the customer service of Slip-X Solutions is absolutely wonderful as well. The shipping was fast too!

Not worth it. Doesn't fit any drain in my house. Too big for both my bathroom sink and the shower drains and too small for the kitchen. I'm not sure what drain it would fit, but none in my house. Don't know how it would work if it failed t a drain, but it seems like it would be difficult to get a good seal, even if it fit a drain.

We have 2 bathtubs both with metal plugs that are a pain to use. They both have DIFFERENT opening sizes. This is too small for the one tub. If it's too small, it will just pop out if you try to fill the tub with water.At first, it appeared too big for the other tub, which is a 'standard' bathtub. It isn't... it's an INCREDIBLY tight fit that requires real strength to get in the hole. Definitely not something the typical woman can put in herself. It took my very strong son a few minutes to wiggle and jam into the hole. But if you want it to hold water, it has to be tight (maybe not as tight as it is tho). Once in, it works flawlessly.The water drain area however is small, and the unit does not appear particularly durable. I doubt it will last years. That said, for a few dollars, it doesn't have to. Taking it in and out for cleaning may be a real issue however, so keep that in mind.I'm giving it 4 stars because it does work, and taking into account the low price, I don't regret buying it. The star off is for the questionable durability and small drain opening. Before you buy it, make sure you have someone strong enough to help you get it in (and take it out). Hope this helps!

Our original drain stopper got misplaced somehow and I purchased one of these as a replacement. They're affordable and I can easily replace after a while if they get too gunky. My daughter and I have long hair and they definitely catch the hair. My husband complains a little less now since he doesn't have to clean the drain as often! :)

I originally picked one of these up at a local hardware store years ago, and it's been great...still working fine, although it's gotten a bit dirty over the years. I saw this one on amazon and bought it, but it does not work the same, I've seen some other reviews stating the same thing. This is not as stiff as the original, and the snap-up function does not work as well, and it feels like it's going to come apart if I snap it up, and pull it through a full tub of water...but the original feels solid. SImilarly, in a full tub, in the snapped up position, it does not drain as well as the original, I am guessing because the top half is flopping around and not keeping the drain holes as open. *Great* design, but not an ideal choice of material IMO.

They really work great! Size worked perfectly in my tub. No.water leaked out. Made of sturdy material. Tub drained well. The white little guy just sits quietly on my caddy until needed!

My bathtub has a broken plug and this fits right over and solves the problem.

Excellent device, helps declutter bathtub drains from chains and plugs.

It does the job, still leaks very slowly over time but unless you’re in the tub for more than an hour, I don’t see that being an issue for anyone.

Top part broke on first use, does not go back down stays curved up, therefore does not stop water

It works as long as you don't accidently hit the plug...since the suction isn't the best, it easily becomes loose. Besides that, it does it's job.
