1/3 weight of cotton liners. Easier to pack. Micro Art- Silk is a man made polymicrofibre that mimics silk in its soft comfort after machine washing before first use. It is used in sports clothing. More breathable than heavy polyester. Stronger than silk. Simpler to wash and dry than cotton. Won't absorb sweat like cotton. Each thread finer than silk. Longer at 220mm. Our Hobo pure silk liners are listed separately.

Poor quality for the money
Easy and lightweight, yes absolutely! Quality just not good enough. After 2 weeks use cloth ready to fall apart, little tears all over, seam falling apart also. Name silk also very misleading, feel it should not be used. 'Art' meaning artificial - how many of us know that? It's synthetic material, that's it, and not very long-lasting at that. I bought 2, one seems fine - for now - but seeing this one, I fear for it's life. Very very disappointed - would expect better for the money

Possibly the best ยฃ20 I have ever spent.
This sleeping bag liner is godly. It has been all over with me, protecting me from the hot, cold and bed bugs. I travelled for four months around Asia, using this everywhere I went. In bed, it kept me warm enough to sleep but not overheating, and if really hot I could just lay it over my like a blanket. It is soft and comfortable, and was great as a pillow on buses, or when they got cold (some of those pesky 14 hour bus journeys were on a 15C aircon) it kept me warm enough to sleep. I've slept on buses, airport floors, sofa, beds (clean or dirty) inside this liner and without a shadow of a doubt it has served me well throughout.

Waste of money, don't buy it!
This is useless when you're over 5"10! All good and well it being 2.20m long on the "bottom" but the top bit is only about 1.60m long. You wouldn't buy a duvet that's only 1.60m long would you? Unless you're tiny yourself maybe.Tried to use it single (not long enough to cover my shoulders) and as a liner in the sleeping bag where it ended up crumpled once I got out and in again. So yes, this thing is completely useless for me. Waste of money, don't buy it!

Lower limit extender!!
I have used this liner on a few cold(ish) nights now. I use a 2 season bag rated to 9 degrees and with this liner it was very comfortable down to 0 degrees Celsius. Im 6ft 2" and its plenty big enough to go over my head and not feel tight. Used with any sleeping bag this liner would be more than capable of extending the lower comfort level by more than a few degrees. Can't rate it highly enough.

Lightweight, warm and comfortable.
Lightweight and warm - I used it with a 2-season sleeping bag for summer hiking in the Andes and was very comfortable. It's thin enough to roll up with the sleeping bag and still fit in its bag, which makes setting up and breaking camp a little easier when hiking.I have never used a genuine silk liner, so cant compare performance, but it's noticeably warmer than just the sleeping bag, wihout feeling over wrapped or sweaty. This is quite large, and not mummy/cocoon shaped, so if you have a shaped sleeping bag there will be extra fabric. However it's very light and.silky, sohaving a bit of excess bunched up wasn't even noticeable. Also small andy handy to tuck into a bag when going to acommodation where you're nervouse about bedding quality!

Absolutely lovley & ethical! ๐
I opened this product wearing a massive smile on my face. It's lovely, very well made & extremely good value! It comes in a little bag with guidance on how to wash & care for it, which is also very useful. I rest easy that it will make my camping adventures much comfier. What's also special about it is the manufacturers ethical values & the Scottish silkworm story. For anyone with those principles this would be a perfect product. The delivery was prompt and care was given. I love it, the irony is I'll be venturing up to the highlands with it very soon! Thank you very much to the family at Scottish silkworm and all the best with your further dedication to saving the silkworm.Beth ๐ ๐ซ๐ฎ

Looking for a liner? Stop looking and buy this one.
Quite simply brilliant. I directly compared this with a silk liner that I bought at the same time and this is far far better. Feels better and easier to look after. Cheaper than most quality silk liners which is a plus. I'm 6'3" and 90kgs and it fits me with some room to spare. Will warm you up on a cold night when used in a sleeping bag. And is perfect to use on its own on those warm nights when your 3 season bag was a bit much for a summer camping trip. Buy one, you wont regret it. So good I bought another.

Nice thin sleeping bag liner
Just what I wanted. I have it washed and ready in my backpack for when we go travelling. The material is thin and well made. There is a pocket in the head for a pillow. It arrived on time and was in good packaging. I like that it comes in a material case so it is easily packed away after use. It washed really well in my washing machine. I canโt fault it so far.
