Looks good and is very functional
This product is both functional and good looking (not just my opinion, my sister in law thought it was great, too). It is strong enough to hold my 30 lb. preamplifier and stable enough to keep my turntable on the top shelf. The height adjustments are flexible enough that the shelves are level, enough though the front is on a rug and the back is not, and the floor slopes from left to right (basement floor).Based on the looks, I would not recommend it for use in a room with formal, high end furniture. The threaded poles would not fit in. However, it looks great with the rest of the furniture in my home theater.A note on assembly: test both ends of each threaded rod by starting one of the nuts on each end. If a problem is encountered, thread a nut from the other end of the rod and spin it until it is removed from the other end. This should fix the threads.
