Shooters Ridge 40430 Magazine Loader

While intriguing in the way a Rube Goldberg machine is, this loader will take just as long to load by hand. You have to count rounds loaded on else you'll put a little dent in the 10th round by pushing against it. Getting magazines on and off is probably the hardest part, no way could you do that with gloves on or with cold hands in winter. I know everybody and their grandmother wants a quick Ruger 22 mag loader, but this one is not the best.

The trick to make it work for me was to preload one round into the mag by hand and the rest would go no problem by the speedloader. without the one round it was a mixed bag if the rounds would load or not. Don't try to force rounds in! it will dent the casingsWorked for the 3 different 10 round mags i have.

Cool. Works very well. Just dump shells in and they kind of just fall into order. Works well. Fast and saves your fingers from manual loading.

I loaded two ten round magazines, worked just like they, I have a pair of 25 round magazines on order so I hope it works the same as the 2- ten round.

I was a little concerned about this being plastic but when I got it and tried it the loader works smoothly and with little effort. I have Ram-line, Hotlips and factory mags and they are all loaded easly with this loader. The other bonus is the ease with which the bullets align themselves in the zig-zag slot. Dump in 50 rds, shake the tray slightly and in a few seconds you're ready to load and in a couple of minutes you have full mags. I have read about other people with problems getting the mags in and out of the loader, I have not had any problems in this area. Would recomment this loader to anyone with a 10/22.

Works as advertised. If there is a malfunction its the fault of the magazine not the loader thus far. A real thumb saver!

Doesn't work all that great. Shells get lodged in the loader just before the insertion point. Used with both factory Ruger and Ram magazines. No difference.
