Exactly what I needed... CR8449-1000
It would be kind of unusual for anyone to buy these who doesn't know how to use them... My application was as a current monitor for a household AC generator hookup. For those who don't know, current transformers require a load resistor that is not part of this purchased coil part. The load resistor is placed across the output of the coil, and the AC voltage across the resistor is proportional to the current flowing through the wire at the center of the coil. The value of the load resistor and the design of the coil will determine the range of current that can be measured. I've scaled mine using the CR8449-1000 coil so that 1 Volt RMS output means that 10 Amps of current is flowing through the wire. (If anyone cares, I used a 101.6 Ohm, 1 Watt resistor to measure a 30 Amp circuit. Over-design the power handling of the load resistor, you don't want it getting hot!) This works well, and does exactly what I need it to.

Hooked this up to an ESP32 to monitor when my sump pump turns on. Worked perfectly.

didn't work, not sure if it is the transformer or meter
