I bought a different light box first that was a little cheaper and came with the stand and a few other bonus items but it was to thin and easily scratched. It would often bend a little here or there while I was drawing or coloring and I found it annoying!I bought this one and it is amazing! The power cord never falls out which was another issue I had. It is pretty think which means it weighs a little more then the thinner ones but it doesn't ever bend while Im drawing or coloring which is a huge deal to me! It also seems a bit more scratch resistant then the one I had before not that I am tough on them or using an x-acto knife over them or anything like that but just from daily use. It is bright enough to see through 2 or 3 pieces of 140 lb water color paper depending on how much light is in the room you are using it in at the time.I also like that the rulers on the side are in inches not centimeters which was the other thing I didn't like about my old one.I would recommend this one because of the quality over the slightly cheaper thinner ones. So unless the slightly extra weight is just that big of a deal to you this one is totally worth the price!!!

Buyer Beware! I just received my LitUp LP3 A3 Light Box. Upon unboxing, I discovered that the light did not come with the promised electrical plug. It clearly states in the product profile that it is included: "Litup LP3 comes with a 12V power supply. It has 2 meters long".The light itself cost $98.68 with shipping. I live in Costa Rica, so on top of that, I also paid an international shipping company to forward my order. What a waste!!!! No matter where you live, unless you have plenty of time and money to throw away, please don't make the same mistake I did. Don't by a LitUp product!

This is so cool! I bought it for my wife who is taking anatomy type classes and has to do many tracings. She used to tape things to a window or computer monitor. Now she can work it much more comfort and see better details. It is as advertised and all the functions work great. The packaging was actually quite nice too. But what I really like is that it reminds me of a light panel from one of the original Star Treks episodes.

She uses Prisma color pencils, Copic markers and draws animation, manga and random art on social media.The reason it is a 4 and not a 5 star is the need to always have it plugged in and not have a built in battery. My mom would have paid more and it is not easy to take on the go.I do love how bright it gets and clean the look of it. Definitely helps to add to the tools of an artist. Being young I appreciate that it was affordable, well designed and nice size. Only one more improvement of a built in battery so I can take it around my home and draw. I absolutely Love it. Very bright and it works fine even in front of my window. Able to see through at least 4 layers of printing paper and 2 card stocks. Be careful and keep it in safe place since I scratched mine the first day but it spent affect the work. Awesome light box. Big and light.

These are so much better than the bulky tables I used when I did agency work. I started out to give it 4 stars only because I wish that I had purchased a larger one. But since this was not the fault of the seller I decided to upgrade it to a 5 star products. You won't be disappointed in this purchase. Great for artists, students, craftsmen, designers and anyone who needs a helping hand in tracing artwork!

I bought this light pad four years ago and I still use it A LOT. The trick is to not move it around while it's plugged in. The plug in part is sensitive. Excellent drawing surface. Love the light. I unplug it when I'm not using it. This is the one to get.

The LP3 A3 size light box is a perfect size for tracing PDF sewing patterns and quilting patterns. I am so glad I got this thing. It is light weight, doesn't get hot, goes from low to super bright light. I couldn't be happier. Great product! I was using a piece of glass over a box with an incandescent bulb, the LED light box is a game changer.
