My First Straight Razor...
Very happy with this product. The blade is sharp and the strop works well.

Do not buy.
Product never provided me with a single shave. The blade pulls and grabs, but barely cuts a few hairs. I wasted so much time and money buying, shipping, and stroping this razor. I emailed help, but their help is worse than YouTube videos which teach proper stroping.

Good quality but NOT shave ready.
NOT shave ready. Be prepared to invest in stones or pay someone to get this ready. The blade has an edge so if you’re cutting tomatoes it will work fine but my husband couldn’t shave with it out of the box even after stropping. Solid piece though; he says the wooden handle is quality and loves the black matte finish of the blade. Included strop is cheap, but all things considered not bad for the price.

Perfect for lining up your beard
Having never used a straight razor, I was apprehensive about chosing a beginner's model that would still get the job done. I have to agree with other reviews that it's not shave ready out of the box, but a minute or two of passes on the strop seemed to do the trick (I have pretty thick/coarse hair but wear full beard so this is solely for edging/cleanup). I'll definitely invest in a whetstone now that I'm instantly hooked and never going back to disposables. I was thankful that it wasn't impeccably sharp so that I could get a feel for a new technique without risking a nasty hack job. This thing gave me the clean lines I've been looking for on the top line of my beard and made it quite easy to do so. It was very user friendly if you take your time. As someone who was dipping their toe to see if a straight razor switch was a good idea I'm thrilled with this purchase.

Not sharp.
Its no good. Doesnt shave at all. Have to pay to get it sharpend hopefully it will work after.

Horrible
Absolutely worthless. No sharp edge on arrival. Stropped 8 separate times trying to sharpen. Would not cut a single hair. Returning. Very disappointed Amazon sells this product
