if you see the wall becoming green is normal. Actually you need to follow the cure procedure for any new device. The cure time it will take 3 days and after the inside it will be dark green. After 1 week I used it, it started have the flavor of the one that my uncle had when he lived in Brazil.

Is this toxic metal?
I attempted to "cure" the mug by steeping the Yerba Mate for 24 hours as directed. The mug is now discolored around the Alpaca silver brim. Is this toxic????

Not made of materials advertised
The bombilla was not alpaca and it was actually the cheapest bombilla I've ever seen. Similar with the mate gourd. It is great, it has leather on the outside and glass inside but unsure is alpaca.
