Gluten Free All-purpose Flour (25lb Box)

I bought 25 lbs. of this flour to make gluten free bread, now I have searched this site and no where does it state that this not for bread making. I attempted to make a loaf of bread today and it was a complete flop, so in hind sight I visited the Abundant life foods site and guess what, it states that this flour is excellent for all baking purposes EXCEPT bread. Then I look at the label of the box I received, and yep it states the same thing EXCEPT bread. Now I don't know who to blame, but I have 24 lbs of flour that I don,t know how to use. I've E mailed the vendor to see if I can modify by adding some rice or bean flour to make this acceptable as bread flour. I'm sure that it's good flour it's just not for bread making which is what I ordered it for.

We have gone through 2 boxes of this flour at 25 lbs each. It is a drier flour and so I recommend extra liquid in recipes. It's so nice not to have to mix my own flour! I can just get it out of the box! However, it's not available right now :( and ordering directly from the company is going to cost way too much in shipping. I hope it comes back in stock.....

I have been using this flour for all my recipes and it has performed extremely well. I used to mix my own flour from 4 different flours and the time and cost of doing this was getting to be too much. I do a lot of baking and cooking and now that I have found Abundant Life Foods Gluten Free All-purpose Flour that comes in a 25lb box at an affordable price, I will be a repeat customer.

The flour mix wasn't quite what I've used before. It tasted ok but my foods ended up rubbery and odd and I'm definitely someone that knows how to cook and bake... That's why I bought 25 lb box. I guess I will keep looking...

Like the King Arthur gluten-free flour, this stuff sets rock-hard within a day or two so unless you plan to eat your baked goods as soon as they are cool, you should look elsewhere.
