Surface Pro 6 (Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 256 GB) - Black

I bought this as I wanted something powerful that was also portable and light to carry. I bought the keyboard that goes with it, which is vital for using it like a computer. Didn't get the docking station. I love this Surface, it's fast and responsive, and it's very compact and easy to transport. The battery life lasts for quite a while just using basic functions such as MS Office tools and surfing the web. I haven't tried it yet with more power intense applications like Photoshop and Adobe Premier, but I assume it will last less long with these tools as they use more processing power. All in all very happy with this purchase and the performance. It was more than a standard laptop, but the portability, reviews, and processor/memory specs were better and more robust.

Came with Windows 10 Pro, so could activate Windows. Had a time getting that fixed but customer support got me there. Unit is great, fast, very portable and all the other things my friends said it would be. Refurbished Surface Pro 6, i7, 8/256gb, refurbished mouse, keyboard and dock. Ordered another set for wife. About $2600. I am Realtor, she owns small financial service company. Get Office 365 with it, store all in cloud, enjoy max flexibility. Power deal.

I'm happy with my surface pro6 its nicer than my pro 4 and I bought a screen saver as my old one screen cracked so I'm hoping I don't have that problem, so far so good

I bought the 6 pro and used it mainly for travelling so it had very little use. After about 2 year it began to not hold a charge. Then the charger stopped working - bought another charger and that didn't work. Even with the charger plugged it will no longer boot. I found a couple youtube sites that explained how you have to bust the "Surface" apart to replace the battery. Took it into Geek squad and Batteries etc. and both told me that the battery couldn't be replaced. Now I have a good looking useless paper weight that cost me over a thousand dollars. It's a piece of junk - stay away from any tablet/laptop that you can't replace the battery. I doubt there are any batteries out there that can last of a decade or 2 and any appliance that can't replace it's battery should be avoided. Update August 10, 2025: As I was hoping for a better solution, I just did a google search for, "replace battery for Microsoft Surface Pro 6" and AI came back with the following: The battery in a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is not designed to be user-replaceable. Microsoft does not offer replacement batteries for the Surface Pro 6, and replacing it typically requires professional repair or replacement of the entire device. If your Surface Pro 6 battery is failing, you'll likely need to contact Microsoft support or a third-party repair service for assistance. Why it's not user-replaceable: Adhesive and Construction: The battery is strongly glued to the chassis and is difficult to remove without specialized tools and expertise. Risk of Damage: Attempting to replace the battery yourself can easily damage the screen or other components, potentially causing further issues. Lack of Official Support: Microsoft does not offer replacement batteries for the Surface Pro 6. So looks like the Microsoft Surface Pro is still a terrible purchase decision!!

The best choice I've ever made. This was my first computer and it went everywhere with me. Wasn't to big or small. Very light weight. It stolen but I will be buying another one in the future. 10 STARS IN MY BOOK!!

Loving this product. For optimal use, get yourself a pen and type cover to go with it. The only problem I'm having is sometimes it randomly disconnects from WiFi and can no longer find any networks even if I'm surrounded by a million networks. I just restart it and it starts to work again. Black color looks amazing.

First it arrived Christmas Eve, 3 days before promised! Next I was able to successfully set it up! And the Surface talks to the keyboard! I bought one from Best Buy that only spoke Spanish and the replacement wouldn’t talk to the keyboard! Returned for a refund to Best Buy and I couldn’t be happier with this one from Amazon!

My only disappointment was that the only data port is a single USB. I often use a wireless mouse and do a bit with externals, but I suppose there are trade offs with smaller size and pricing. Overall, I’m perfectly happy with every other aspect of this device.
