Great kit
Easy to install and very easy to use. I used them to rig a couple of pelican cases to the sides of my KLR 650. I'm not a fan of the "locking" mechanism they include since it requires an extra hole that would destroy the waterproof nature of my Pelican cases. The mounting holes you can seal with silicone glue or epoxy and the cases remain waterproof.I would buy it again.

Not what is needed to install panniers.
Please note: This item is NOT what is needed to install panniers on the bike. You MUST already have the pannier racks installed. What is pictured, is what is shipped and what you'll receive; that is great. What is not great is that panniers cannot be mounted on your bike simply by using these. Again, the pannier racks must be purchased and installed prior to being able to use this item. Also please note: There are no instructions whatsoever included with this item, none, zip, nada. The return policy of the company (not Tusk) is that the item being returned must be in unopened condition. Hmm, how then would I know they don't work. I didn't realize I wasn't buying from Tusk, but a reseller. My bad. I'll keep this $60 hardware and they'll keep my money. It is doubtful that I'll get that amount of value from this. I'll simply be more careful in the future to be sure I'm not buying from this company again.

Great mounts!
The mounts were well packaged, arrived in excellent condition and were at least two days early. I love the fact that I can order extra mounts for different sets of hard luggage.
