Grrrip The Two Handled Dog Leash - 1" x 6' Black, l

My dog isn't very big, but she's all muscle and VERY strong. She loves to walk and pulls A LOT, especially if there's another dog nearby (or a squirrel or a cat or a bird- you get where I'm going here. Basically anything she can chase after). I am currently five months pregnant and needed a leash that would allow me to easily reign her in while we are walking in the neighborhood. The leash is strong and I don't feel like the clip will come undone from her harness. The lower handle is at the perfect level (I'm 5'5") and I can easily grab it and pull her to me when I need to. I read the reviews and they all seemed positive, which is why I chose to buy this leash. I am not disappointed and would recommend this leash to anyone who wants to control a strong, pull-y dog.

I can't say how much I love this thing. I originally purchased this leash for my 13 lb mini golden doodle for puppy class. However, she's short and I'm 5'8", so it wasn't practical for me. However, when my 6 year old daughter came to class with us, it worked perfectly for her to work our dog in class. NOW, though, we have adopted a 65 lb pit bull mix rescue dog and this leash is perfect for her. She is a really, really sweet dog and doesn't pull in the least, but it's a very convenient leash to use when we need to keep her close to us while crossing the road or walking among a lot of people. Very durable leash and the latching mechanism on the end is very sturdy and secure. Love this leash!

I had been looking for one of these double leashes for a while and was so pleased to find this one. I appreciate the 6' (opposed to 8') length, and the length of the shorter handle is perfect. It is a good weight and works well for my English Springer Spaniel. I do find the width of the leash to be a little wide for my smaller hands, but other than that it's a great product, price, and purchase.

I don't love it. The lower loop is way too low for my dog...I have to hunch over to make it work...may work better for a taller dog, but doesn't work for my boxer.

The loops of the handles on this leash are *way* too big- and the traffic handle is a little too low. It will work- but I won't purchase it again or recommend for a friend. The lower handle would be ok maybe for a tall dog, but any shorter type of dog (or tall person) it is almost pointless because you will be choking them the entire time you are using it. Only thing I can use the lower handle for it to clip her to the register at the pet store with it. Quite bummed. I've seen much better ones.

I have to admit right off the bat, I'm not really a dog person...but a dog person and his dog have become part of my life. This leash has been perfect for moving his German Shepherd from the house to the yard areas, or for taking the dog on neighborhood walks. The leash is very sturdy and well-made, and the second handle give a good feeling of safety for both you and the animal.The original leash is ten years old and looks a bit scuffed, but is still safe and strong. I bought the new leash to have a second leash handy when I need it, and the quality is even better. Excellent shipping from KV Pet.

This leash is exceptional. It's strong, durable and the perfect overall length at 6'. Having the second 'handle' at the base of the leash is exactly what we needed, it allows me more direct control over our 60 lb goldendoodle when he wants to lunge after something or crossing the street. It isn't suitable for smaller breeds as it's too wide a nylon and would be too heavy with the overall length but it's perfect for your medium to large size dog. I'm very glad we purchased this.
