This solar WHITE Light is more than you expect !! Awesome
The media could not be loaded. I don’t do many reviews you’ll see that but I give honest reviews never negative but this SOLAR LIGHT is so fantastic. I had to share what I could. This light is not only collapsible and very small. It uses solar, no power, no batteries, set it in the window leave it in the window so it stays fully charged until you need it. The light is 60 Lumens bright which is a huge amount of brightness ( mnf, pls don’t downsize the lights) I understand they’re great for camping, but they’re great for a lot of things, sitting out in the evening on the deck having a cocktail for when you want a little ambience lighting (love ambiance lighting) you need a little nightlight for a kid. It has three modes, bright, medium, and low. You could light the way up a porch, up a driveway. You could hang them from a rope under big trees to make the ambience in a yard more beautiful you are only limited by your own imagination as to where you can place one or many of these lights that cost nothing to run/ flatten to nothing when in window, However, the bad news is they’re OUT OF STOCK online. I see they have other colors and that’s great. I’m sure a lot of people will like those however, I need the WHITE. I was lucky enough to buy a handful of these when they were available and they are the perfect Christmas gift or anytime at all don’t limit yourself, get creative with lighting that will keep giving in soooo many ways not just lights out, and give to people Who you care about. It’s the perfect light to use over a flashlight, which is a one beam, hand held, where this is much wider/ hanging for people you love in case their power goes out. Of course it’s good for camping, enjoying the evening outside without lighting candles, and not turning on the big yard light Again this light can be used for so many things. I haven’t even imagined yet. It’s a wonderful product I wanted to buy many more and give them away as Christmas gifts but as I logged on just now, I found out that the white light are no longer in stock so if I could please just say to the “manufacturer” of this product that I’m if you could get that exact light back IN STOCK in the color of white, that would be fantastic. I’m sure there’s lots of other people out there who feel the same way I do they want the light to be WHITE clearly white is the most popular and the three dimmable phases so if you can get that light back “exactly” like it was Before Same look same strength not giving up any of its great qualities. I’d order a lot more extra because as word gets out that this is the greatest most compact expandable ultra bright light you’re gonna sell out again, so I’m gonna try to keep my eye open for when this comes back And buy enough to hold me over for gifts anyday of the year Birthday, but it’s worth it well worth it. I’ve attached a video to show you exactly how bright the light is how thin the light is and all you do is set it in the window and forget it then when you need it, it’s available and fully charged with all the light a person could possibly need I’ll get extras when it comes available Not only to give as gifts but to have in various rooms for various reasons I have a friend who likes to read late at night and she keeps hers next to her bed on very low so she can have the ambience while she’s reading without having the bright light And glowing up the whole room while her other is sleeping. Thank you for the product. It’s wonderful one does not buy a lot of products that are this wonderful. This one’s really that great. thank you.

Our Favorite Crush Lights
We have used these types of Goal, zero crush lights for our rural property, on the motorboat, camping, and at our nonprofit youth adventure camp.We bought our first set four years ago, and they still work great. However, we also love them on our rural property, so we bought more. During catfish season, we use them for about three hours a night two or three days a week and we charge them about once a week to an week and a half. So, the battery life is excellent. We have a small goal zero solar generator and they charge well with this charger. They charge well by sunlight. They charge well by USB.This would be an excellent gift for children to have as their very own lantern when camping or for any outdoorsy person. It also makes great lanterns around your barbecue pit, which is what we do with ours when we’re not camping. We also have a set that we use when the power goes out on our rural property. We live in cabin in the forest. Here is a tip. When the lights come, they will be in demo mode which means when you turn them on, they’ll stay on for a few seconds and automatically shut off. It’s hard to figure out how to Yale the light off demo mode once you throw away the packaging. To take the lights out of Demo mode, turn the light on then press and hold the on off button for 10 seconds allowing the light to cycle through all of the various lighting options from low light to high light to candlelight then it will shut itself off, and this is your indication that it is out of demo mode. The next time you turn the light on it will stay on until you turn it off .

Well designed for camping and emergency lighting
Goal Zero has always had a reputation for innovative and useful design. The Crush Light Solar Powered Lantern doesn't disappoint. It is all that the advertising promises... small when compacted, bright when needed and long lasting on its low setting. I got one initially and put it through its paces. The advertised times for high, medium, and low output are close to my experiance. I was especially impressed by the output of the low setting. I can hang it about two feet above my head and read easily with only its light output in an otherwise dark room. On low I get 24 hours consistently. It is a little less than the 30 hours as advertised, but that is still impressive when the power goes out and you need light to move around the house or to light common spaces like a kitchen or bathroom. Likewise it can get you through a three day camping trip easily. As expected the higher settings will last less. But I find they are overkill and will not be needed often. As for the design, I found it very convenient. the collapsed state packs easily into a backpack or stands on a windowsill to keep it charged with the built-in solar panel. While we are on the subject of solar let me make a point about solar expectations. If you expect to take this or any solar powered device into the backcountry on a long hike and think that you will use the solar to recharge it after it is empty, you will have a hard experiance. Solar is SLOW to recharge. Only the largest solar panels will provide strong recharge ability and then only if they are in bright sunlight for many hours. As for the Crush Light, Goal Zero stated to me that the expected time to fully recharge a dead light from solar is 20 hours. That's 20 hours in direct, bright sun. For all practical purposes that means 3 days. So forget about charging while waking along a wooded trail or on overcast days. Please understand that the most practical way to recharge the Crush Light is via the USB cable from a wall outlet or portable battery pack. Then once fully charged place it on a windowsill with good sun exposure to keep it topped off. That is the best emergency preparedness way to use the light. If you follow this routine, you will always have a fully charged light when you need it most.Build quality seemed good, especially considering its low cost. The shaded sides are thick enough to expect years of service. The removable handle is strong and well attached. the entire electronic module with solar on the top, battery inside, and LED lights on the bottom is solid and protected from the elements. A short USB cord is supplied with the light that can cleverly act as an alternate handle to hang the light upside down for a more romantic feel. Just thread the small end of the cord down through one of the side loops on the light's frame. Then cross over and thread it up through the opposite loop it should stay in place with a quarter turn and act as a handle to hang the light upside down. It's also a convenient way to store the cord to prevent loss. The best part of the Crush Light is its cost. At under $20 it gives you a lot of usefulness and emergency piece of mind for very little money. The value to cost ratio of this Goal Zero product is very high indeed. I recommend that you consider this as a perfect stocking stuffer for family. When the power outage hits they will be glad you thought of the Crush Light.
