Slightly better but still terrible. I am returning this.

The hard plastic is nice, but it's too hard to squeeze. The straw does not allow for ease of sipping. You have to really draw on it making it more of a nuisance than need be. The construction is good, looks good but not fun.I have no way to test the water so can't comment on the filtering, but I did buy this because of it's claim in all that is should be filtering. I think it's overpriced.

Just what I was looking for -

I'm shocked anyone has a positive review on this bottle. For anyone trying to use this to drink water throuout the day, its more trouble than its worth. Its also way over priced for the quality.1) Its really difficult to drink through it. a. The filter attachment needs to be taken off and reattached regularly due to air getting into the straw. b. You need to create a ton of suction to get the water out.2) It doesn't taste good.3) Poor quality4) I have no idea how to keep track of how much water I've put in it.5) Replacement filters are expensive.
