Keeps my 19-1/2 yr old dog going!
Kaylee (30 lb. mixed breed) had a cancerous tumor removed from her jaw when she was 15 and the vets predicted the cancer would return. They put her life-expectancy at under 2 years. Not wanting to put her through chemo in her last year(s), I took the advice of a holistic vet and started giving her CAS Options. Four years later, she's still going strong. Her eyesight isn't great, and her hind legs are beginning to weaken, but the cancer hasn't returned, her appetite is great, cognitively she's "all there." She still greets me at the door, still begs for treats, and she has kept me sane through these last two pandemic years.

Helps the immune system - cancer
A friend of mine told me about this product, said it worked very well for her dog, that had been diagnosed with cancer. It will not cure cancer, but it helps with the immune system, and seem to make them feel a little more comfortable. My dog will eat it with no problem, put it in her food twice a day. I have only been giving it to her for about 2 weeks...so we will see if it helps. I was told it takes about a month to see any results. RESOURCES Canine CAS Options, Soft Chews, 120 count

New life for your 4 legged best friends
I started giving this to my 10 year old Schnauzer mix. He had slowed down a lot and had many of those fatty like tumors. Within 2 months on this product he is more active and some of those tumors shrunk. I then started my 8 year old Shepherd and she is also more active. This product is a little pricey but worth it. My dogs are acting like puppies which makes me very happy. There is milk thistle in it and I know that helps the liver, a very important organ for people and companions! I thought I was looking at Eddie's end and feel we both have a lot more time together. I found out about the manufacturer from my vet who suggested the Blood and Energy for anemia that my Shepherd needed.

Unsure about the long-term effect but the taste/smell seems awful
I can't say about the effects of this supplement yet as we just got my 10 year old chihuahua on it last week because I felt a lump that I didn't feel before and now we're just monitoring at this point at the vet's guidance. However, the soft chews don't seem to have an appealing taste for my dogs. I personally do not like the smell of it either and my dog will sniff it out and make the effort to spit it out even if I break into pieces and mix into kabocha squash (which he loves) and if I crumble it into basically powder form, he'll just refuse to eat the kabocha squash all together. I understand that mushroom can be smelly but... not sure what to do at this point.

The dog likes these!
My dog (understandably) started being a super-picky eater after starting chemotherapy. He refuses just about everything except his joint pill and this supplement. Thanks for making it easy to administer, even for dogs that don't feel 100%.
