Rain Gutter Guard Cleaning Brush, Clean Any Gutter Cover Without Getting On The Roof

This has proven to be the ideal tool for clearing leaves off my rain gutters, which have a screen on the top but still need to be swept off from time to time. Old-fashioned gutters that are open might not be so benefited; I can't say. Note that you'll need an extension handle to screw into this tool, as it includes only the sweeper head.

I actually put this on a long pole, got on the roof and pushed leaves over the gutter guards to fall on the ground. I live in a two-story house and cleaning the roof standing on the ground is not an option. I have multiple white oak trees close to my house.

I used to use a hard bristled broom to try and clean my gutters, and it never quite worked. The leaves and pine needles never just "blow off" my guards, and I have to go out there several times a year to clean them for them to perform their function. This brush has made this task a lot easier. I got a good telescoping pole, and with this on the end, have been able to clean all of my guards really well, and because of the different bristle directions, have been able to get at other areas where leaves accumulate and stuff builds up. Great find!

this brush has made it possible for me, at age 72, to clean my gutters. I have the black sponge like material in my gutters to prevent leaf clogging, but the top of the material needs to be cleaned-off every spring and fall. No more ladder! One warning - I live in ranch house, so the gutters are not very high, even so get at least a 16ft pole. I originally bought a 12 foot pole and it was really hard to use.. the 16ft pole make the work much easier and actually did a better job of getting the debris of the gutters.

Considering you are standing twelve or thirteen feet below the gutters on the ground, this is pretty good at brushing off debris that causes rain water to slide over the gutter covers onto the ground. It worked for me. It is not as thorough as you could do on a ladder, but you don't need to get up there with this device. I recommend it, but you should understand its limitations.

Good solid brush. Haven't used it yet, but the Gutter Glove brand is well known. Will see if it does the job.

Bristles all around are good. Threaded portion needs to have a method to lock it down on the threaded shaft to keep it from working loose and spinning.

Good tool for cleaning anywhere on the roof, not just the gutters.
