3 x Headphone Adapter with Black Jack Cover for iPhone 4/4S LifeProof Cases

Works just like the one that comes with the lifeproof phone case. Works great with my iphone 4s. I was glad that I found these for a good price after losing my original one.

They do the job, but they break really easily. Each one lasts about a month or two before the wire becomes exposed, and only one head phone will work. But they're cheap, so I didn't expect too much.

This is the one issue I have with life proof cases: the adapters. I've gone through a few because the wires break internally with use (I had another brand completely come apart on me as well as the ones from lifeproof) . So far so good with these. There were three and they arrived not connected to each other, which is good because they weren't "pre-bent" by the jack where I've had them fail before. Price was right.

I was a little wary when they arrived , the plastic is a bit stiff - you could tell they were aftermarket. That said, the outside doesn't matter here. It connected perfectly with my phone in my original Lifeproof case. I haven't dunked it, but the phalange almost makes it seem more watertight. No issues with sound, etc.

The screw-in mic plug portion fits perfect into my case and phone, but when I plug ANY mic plug into the receiving jack, it is loose and will not stay in. I tried five mic plugs around the house and none will stay in. I bought these adapters to use with my phone while in the car so that I could listen to my music (I lost my original Lifeproof one). The best I could get out of it was sound on one side of my system at a time. If I wiggled the jack/plug, I could get the other side. The hole in the jack is just too big to fit snugly on any mic plug with the exception of the one on the other end of itself (the one in the picture that screws into the phone. It is a little larger and stays in fine). I tried all three that came in the package. The original Lifeproof one was snug on any mic plug I put into the jack, but they are so expensive. I will keep looking...

Almost.. Quality seems sturdier than original, but unfortunately when headphone jack is seated all the way sound is garbled, the sweet spot seems to be unseated by about 1/16" have a feeling that will go poorly quickly, as the "newness" wears off.Hey, it was worth a shot , and some backup is better than nothing at all.

the rubber coating is cheap and has broken, the wire inside is now exposed now, i have only had this for 2 months...
