Good Knife, Bad Price
I own two of the J Nowill and Sons FS knives and although nice, they're definitely NOT worth the asking price. The English seem to think that all Americans are wealthy and stupid. I bought both of my knives for half the price and still paid a little too much. I'm sure that they sell some knives, but they'd sell many more if they were reasonable in their pricing.

Pretty unique and high quality
I have had this knife for about two or three years. It has held up to some weather conditions and banging around a little bit, the tip hasn’t broken and it’s still sufficiently sharp. This is a common military dagger pattern which has been around for decades, similar to the Ka-Bar used by the US Marines. You can do your research about this pattern, for instance, the weight is perfectly proportional which makes it ideal for throwing. Because it’s an old and common pattern, there are many aftermarket sheaths to buy which you can use for carrying this, if you live in a place where you are permitted to do so.This particular company’s knife is pretty sturdy and doesn’t seem to be mass produced. The steel is apparently tool steel. Hard and durable. The Boy Scout motto is to “be prepared”; the price is a little high but if you grab one of these and make sure to clean it and lubricate it every once in a while, the metal will hold up and you will be prepared with this for a long time.

Definitely got what I paid for!
I just received my knife yesterday. A birthday present to myself. It shipped immediately and arrived well ahead of schedule. The leather scabbard is well designed and manufactured. Blade fits loosely with no hangups. Additional leg or boot attachment tabs are pre-punched to make stitching easier for users modifications. The only manufacturing change I "might" make are the elastic strap at the knife's hilt and the thickness of the slotted belt leather attached to the scabbard. The elastic is not era congruent. A pivotable thumb release snap on a grommet that can be rotated for left or right hip wear would be better suited. The thickness of the leather should be the same throughout. Thicker is better than thinner. The knife itself feels very good in the hand. The knife arrived with an edge sharpness that was virtually non-existent, but the steel readily accepted a razor sharp edge. I particularly like the original design of the handle and this knife replicated that well; ever so slightly rear balanced from the guard, slightly conical from each end forming a central mid-hand strong point where thrusting and retracting of the blade allows the hand to maximize its strengths in both directions. Quality steel, solid design and manufactured well. I like it a lot!
