12pc Studio Pro Makeup Make Up Cosmetic Brush Set Kit w/ Leather Case - For Eye Shadow, Blush, Concealer, Etc

I received my brushes yesterday (I ordered them last thursday)! The case is nice, there was no real bad smell at all; just like a leather bag, shoe etc. I washed them out and was setting them on a towel to dry. The smaller of the two big brushes had me worried. I thought that the brush part was going to come apart from the base (I noticed because I was going back and forth across my hand and felt it was loose). But I just pushed it back down onto the base and it was fine. No shedding after cleaning. I haven't used them yet, but I am EXCITED. There are a few eyeshadow brushes and I suppose you could also use them as concealer brushes. Overall, I am quite pleased with the look, feel and quality of the product. I would definitely recommend to others!!!I have had these brushes almost a year now - have washed them several times and basically they are really good brushes for the price! I have had no shedding and they still are very soft. The only brush that I had an issue with was the eyebrow/eyelash brush; it came unglued. It wasn't that big a deal, because I still use it. I haven't glued it back on - I just hold it by the ferrule. LOL.

So if you're ad the other reviews they talk about the powder I the brushes and the smell. If you read those then you won't be surprised when they show up.The face brushes are very soft. The eyeshadow brushes are soft but the bristles are very stiff. Not sure how well they'll work for blending. Personally I dig fluffy eyeshadow and crease brushes.But overall they're a decent set and the faux leather case is nice storage.

Hello, all! I was in the market for a new set of brushes and came across these. I was VERY nervous at first because it was amazon, and I couldn't feel the texture. When I got the brushes, there was the permanent marker smell that everyone is complaining about, but when I aired the case out and sprayed my perfume on the case, the smell went away. It's still faintly there, but nowhere near as much. After washing the brushes and letting them fully dry, I applied my makeup and didn't get any of the shedding. The large brushes are not good quality whatsoever. They are not stiff or dense enough to pat on loose powder, or to pick up your brush. Soft brushes are good, but too soft of brushes can be a pain. The fan brush is tiny qith this set an really thin, so i wouldnuse it to sweep excess makeup off the skin and definitely not for contouring. The reason I did give this product 4 stars despite the quality of the large brushes because every other brush in the set is fantastic! The shader brushes pick up color very well and work great. Also the eyebrow brushes and the sponge/smudge brush is amazing. Overall, I will have to replace 3-5 brushes in the set, but other than that I love this makeup set.

This set is golden. The brushes are quite decent- especially for the price. I have bought sets of 4 or 5 brushes for twice the price that are just the same- they're a good, medium quality brush set. For 12 bucks, all of these people complaining about them coming apart are being completely unrealistic. You can't find brushes for this price that aren't going to do that eventually, and I was actually pleasantly surprised when I opened them at the quality. They're very soft (the fan brush is a bit coarse, unfortunately, but the rest are great). I have not used them officially yet, however, I did tug on the brushes and nothing came out. They're very good quality, really sturdy.I would highly recommend this set for anyone just getting into make up techniques, or for travel, which is why I've purchased them. The case is REALLY cute- looks exactly as pictured.Love it.

I spent a lot of time researching makeup brushes and finally decided on these after perusing a few online reviews. I'm glad I did: these brushes are perfect! They are nice and soft and the case is really convenient. The brushes are not labelled, so you may want to look up what each one is for, but they are great for applying powder/pigment makeup and the eyeliner brush works great with both my liquid and gel eyeliners. One thing to note; make sure you wash them before you use them! You should wash any makeup brush before you use it, but these do have dyed bristles and a little bit of dye washed out of them when I cleaned them the first time. Also, it will help to remove any loose bristles before you use them. I did not have the problem of them shedding like another review stated, but that may be because I washed them--a few bristles will fall out when you do that, but for me it wasn't a lot or anything more than I thought should be expected. I plan on buying more of these as gifts.

After airing the brush set out for a few weeks, the strong, unpleasant odor started to dissipate enough that I decided to start using the brushes. When I went to remove them, I discovered one was broken and another is about to break. I like the feel of the brushes and the case is nice and compact and soft, but I was so disappointed about the broken brush and I had missed the return window since I spent so long airing them out before really examining them.

I was very excited to get my brushes and as soon as I received them I used them. Taking them from the package I immediately rubbed them against the palm of my hand to test the softness and I was not disappointed. I then took my products out, applied my concealer with the concealer brush .....no problem. However as soon as I rubbed the powder brush against my face bristles started coming out. I had them in my face and eyes. I was so embarassed.I put them away so quickly. I ended up pulling out all the 'loose' bristles before I used the brush again.
