Kai 4" Curved Tip Needlecraft Scissors, Black

Excellent sharp little scissors. Made in Japan of high grade Japanese steel. Would love to have been able to buy British..they used to make lovely scissors like this in Sheffield which keep their edge for decades but alas..no longer possible.

I’ve given 4 stars because it’s too soon to judge if they will be great over a long period of time. They arrived very quickly and I was surprised how small they were. That aside they look and feel sturdy. They are very sharp and cut well. I would like to rewrite this review after I have tried them on a few collars or seams. I purchased them for cutting into the corners of items. Other embroidery scissors are too large for this purpose. I do possess a Kai pair of fabric cutting scissors which are excellent so these should prove to be no different.

I use this product when sewing. Most important is that the tip of this little pair of scissors cuts perfectly so I can get in and snip a tiny stitch rather that take a larger pair of scissors to my project and cut fabric instead. Speeds everything up! They have now become one of my essential tools when sewing and are ideal for snipping end threads and unpicking difficult to get to threads and also trimming close to stitch lines.

love the design and ease of these scissors, they fit comfortably on my fingers too.! I use them for small needlework projects, wool felt and felting projects. The scissors are very sharp, the blades are just the right length for small projects and have a slightly curved tip to allow removal of stitches without getting too close to your project. Delivery was very fast too! This is my second pair (lost the first pair travelling to/from a sewing group). I also have other Kai scissors that I love... not surprised that these are also a favorite, quality and very sharp functional scissors.

I love these little Kai scissors so much I keep a pair at each “sewing station” around the house. They have sharp edge and a very sharp tip. Note: Use caution with the tip, it will pierce skin with little effort.

They’re great! Just like the old purple handled ones. I wish the old colours were available though.
