Great product but USB power didnt work.
Very happy with this and the blank plate came in very handy as I was able to customise it for a friends birthday present.Only issue I had was that nothing happened when plugging it into a USB power source so had to rely on battery power. Not sure if this is a common fault or not.

Thought it was really great but weird design however...UPDATE
UPDATED REVIEW....Left the positive review when I first got the ON AIR box, but did mention the fact that you need to take it off the wall to actually turn it on via battery power soooo, I decided to use the usb option.1. Needed to buy two USB extension leads for it to reach the plug.2. Needed a USB wall plug.3. Bought the pins to hold the lead in place up the skirting board.4. Fixed it all in place.5.....of course, it doesn't work!!!Checked the leads via the battery input and all seems well so it's back to taking the device off the wall and turning on the ON AIR box via the battery then putting it back in place and then taking it off and turning it off then putting it back in place when recording has finished; wonderful...Really great love it 👍 Only negative is for some utterly bizarre reason the switch for turning the light on or of when powered by batteries is at the back of the unit???! This means you need to take it off the wall, switch on or of, then hang it again.Obviously designed by Beaker, helper of the mad scientist from the Muppets...

Poor quality switch and usb connector - good looking box
Treat with real care and don't switch on and off on the box - just put in and take out the USB to the computer. As long as you don't touch the actual box much it's great.The actual box itself is sturdy, just the light mechanism which sadly is what it's really about!

PERFECT "ON AIR" SIGN
Awesome! Got this for a youtube studio set and it is perfect. Being able to power via USB is a brilliant feature although I modded mine so the usb cable feeds into the back of the box rather than the side of the so that you can't see it. Decent price, well packaged, definate 5 stars from me and I don't often spend my time writing reviews
