I completed my first art quilt and, before starting the second one, I bought this small rotary cutter. It does make cutting out different small shapes in fabric so much easier.

This definitely had a learning curve for me but with perseverance, I am thrilled! My cuts are quite intricate and now that I’ve found a comfortable holding position, it cuts perfectly! Make sure you are viewing the entire blade side when cutting..this helped tremendously! See pic. Very sharp! I do wish it had a retraction option for the blade, just be sure to cap it after use! A retractable blade would have given 5 stars.

I was hoping so much that I would fall in love with this tiny rotary cutter. I tried it on just basic 100% cotton one layer and it was very difficult to get that circle so I ended up just tracing the circle and cutting it with a pair of scissors. It seems that it would work better for cutting paper at this point I’m not sure if it’s worth returning it but I believe it does not do the job as described. I would recommend this product for paper crafts but not for material I even bought the extra blades. I will most likely return it for a refund.

Wonderful cutter, glides through the fabric with ease! I use my cutter for fabric collage and I am so glad I purchased it! It holds easily in your fingers, like a pencil or a pen enabling to make perfect cuts versus the larger cutters. Wish I would have thought of it!! Fabulous customer service! Thanks.

Must have for those that do appliqué quilting! Very small blade and handle is easy to maneuver around small corners or small jagged edges like fur! Must have!

I really love this took for those small, curvy cuts. I hold this like a pen but upright (not at an angle) and it works perfectly. The blade is very sharp but tiny so you have great maneuverability. I use this for cutting fabric along a pattern. I have larger rotary cutters for straight lines or gradual angles.
