Easy to follow designs. I found it better to photocopy them as I need them to make it easier to transfer my design to the fabric I wished to use.In time I hope to invest in many more of these booklets as I have now become addicted to redwork.

I've had this book for over a year and have just taken it off the shelf to see if there was a design suitable for a card I want to make. The designs are all very similar, which if you look at the cover you can see. The printed versions in the book are not of a very high quality. Some of the lines are black, some are grey. I can cope with that, it is the stitch instructions that are awful. Truly awful. I am an experienced embroiderer and cannot make sense of the instructions. "Back stitiches are not like straight stitches. The back stitch is passed the fabric in a round motion. The needle is inserted so that it is coming through the back side of the material and to the right and back through again." Back stitches ARE straight stitches. There is no use of technical terms right side or wrong side of the fabric, no illustration to make sense of the instructions.
