Starfiber Microfiber Kitchen Scrubbies, 4-Pack

This is a manageable size for me to use washing dishes. So much nicer than a sponge for kitchen work. The two sides take care of most jobs. Easy to rinse and wring out. Very happy with my purchase. I'm not sure about putting it in the dishwasher so I just put it in with the towels in the laundry. If you put yours in the dishwasher, let me know how that works for you!

This is hands-down the BEST kitchen sponge you will EVER purchase, and is most definitely worth the price. I paid the same amount almost 4 years ago that it cost now and was hesitant at the time to be spending that much on a sponge. It had such great reviews that I figured I'd give it a try.I am using the SAME SPONGE for almost 4 YEARS now and am just blown away with how awesome this product is! My daughter uses and replaces sponges CONSTANTLY so I just gave her one from my stash and told her how excellent of a sponge this is. If she lets me know what she thinks of it, hopefully I'll find the time to come back here and update my post with her opinion.I use my sponge all the time and once a week throw it into the washing machine along with my dirty laundry. In between, I will throw it into the dishwasher top shelf to clean and sanitize it. Occasionally I saturate it, put a squirt of liquid dish detergent on it, and throw it into the microwave for a minute or so. That softens up any spills or crumbs so the microwave cleans up easily, while the sponge is being sanitized at the same time.I purchase a lot of items on Amazon and it's not typical for me to write a review. I have been wanting to write a review for quite some time on this item because of how much I love it, but I'd been putting it off. You might think I was paid to write my review, but I most definitely wasn't. You definitely will not regret purchasing this. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Expensive per spons

Shows 4 different versions in pics but, mine arrived looking all like the bottom one but, 2 are in green.overall however, these are the better of the only 2 round scrub/microfiber sponges i have found available.the others are a little over 1” thick with foam on really stiff side so very hard to squish together to clean dishes, let alone hold if you have smaller hands. these here are about 1/2” thick and the foam inside is soft so they are easy to squish sponge in half/etc, wring out and hold comfortably enough even with smaller hands although these are borderline too large for smaller hands IMO. as much as i think these sponges are great, they are just too wide 5.5” and something and therefore awkward to wash glasses, mugs and sliver-ware and if you have smaller hands with hand issues/arthritis, the size will cause pain when using, so best to look elsewhere for hand friendly microfiber sponges if that is what you need (the ones i use but, aren’t on A anymore - although there is a different version but, i haven’t tried them- are the ‘tuff scrub’ blue swirly designed sponges, these are perfect for those with smaller hands and hand issues).

I originally bought this product on my stepdaughter’s recommendation for dishwashing. I was very happy with how long it lasted but I felt the size and shape was odd and I didn’t care for the colors offered. Needless to say, I adapted and I liked them very much. They are very long lasting and are conveniently cleaned via the washing machine, so they don’t get smelly and nasty. When it came time to get new ones, I found a different brand that I thought were basically the same. They were not! They were a good size, shape and came in nice colors, but they didn’t hold up half as well, nor half as long. Needless to say I ordered the Starfiber brand again. My overall rating is actually 4.5 because if the bland colors offered and you don’t always get the colors pictured. Unfortunately I have been peppered constantly (5 emails in 2 months) for a rating from Amazon, which I find highly annoying, so I’m not very happy with that. This has nothing to do with my review, but I may try to find these elsewhere.

I have been using these for over a year now and unless they became too expensive, I wouldn't use other sponges to clean my dishes, pots and pans. Because we are using these to clean food, leftover, stains and all kinds of gross stuffs. No matter how you rinse or wash them some left over or tiny bits of food or whatever we use these to clean are going to stuck in there and bacteria will eventually grow inside. What I've learned from others is once a week or more often if you really use these to clean some gross stuff or things or leftovers that bacteria likes, just rinse them with some dish washing detergent, then put them in the microwave to cook them for two and half to three minutes to kill the bacteria inside that we couldn't see or reach. Whenever they smell (once a week or two?), I just rinse them real good with dish washing detergent and put them in the microwave for 3 minutes. Try it, my sponges never smell until they are worn out in a couple months, then just throw them away and enjoy a brand new one. A couple dollar for a GOOD sponges that will last a few months? Why not.
